Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1585

Mr. Johnson wasn't the only one with this idea. Teachers from other departments had also approached Principal Keaton, suggesting that Yvenne should be moved to Class Four. Her grades were definitely good enough for the switch.

"Principal Keaton, I really don't want to move to Class Four. I want to stay in Class Nineteen. I like my classmates here," Yvenne said, gently knocking on the door of Keaton's office.

The other teachers looked at her with a mix of concern and frustration. They'd heard from Keaton that Yvenne was Tyler's cousin, a bit shy from growing up in the countryside.

"Yvenne, you've got a bright future ahead. Staying in Class Nineteen isn't the best choice."

"Exactly, most students in Class Nineteen aren't really into studying. They'll just hold you back."

Their comments made Keaton's blood boil. As the homeroom teacher for Class Nineteen, he couldn't stand hearing his students being trashed like this.noveldrama

"That's enough. Yvenne, you can go back to Class Nineteen. No one's going to make you leave," Keaton said, his face clouded with irritation as he dismissed the others.

During the break, a crowd gathered around Yvenne's desk, chatting about everything and nothing, nearly pushing Fiona out of her spot.

Fiona watched the jostling classmates with a cool expression and said, "Why don't you guys take it to the playground?"

"Fiona, why are you being so uptight?"

"Yeah, it was just a little bump to your chair. Did you really have to make such a big deal?"

"Unbelievable."

Fiona gave them a once-over, a hint of sarcasm in her eyes, and turned back to her game, tuning them out with her headphones.

Seeing this, Yvenne's lips curled slightly. She was determined to make Fiona the most disliked person in Class Nineteen, no question about it.

Feigning innocence, Yvenne tugged on the sleeve of a classmate who had spoken in her defense, softly saying, "Don't be like that. Fiona's actually nice; she just doesn't have a great way with words. But trust me, I'm a pretty good judge of character."

Her words brought a chuckle from the group.

"Yvenne, you're just too kind-hearted. With people like Fiona, you can't be soft," whispered the girl sitting closest to Yvenne. "She's not as simple as she seems. She's got Nash and Tyler wrapped around her finger. How good can she really be?"

"Exactly. You haven't really interacted with her, so you might not know. There's talk that Fiona got involved with the eldest son of the Woods family, and not in a wholesome way."

Yvenne widened her eyes in innocent surprise, pupils dilating as she asked, "The eldest son of the Woods family? Who's that?"

Someone pointed to where Nash sat and said, "See him? That's Nash, the younger son of the Woods family. His uncle's the head honcho of the whole Woods clan. They're a powerful dynasty, where fortunes can change in the blink of an eye. So don't be fooled into thinking Fiona's all sweet and innocent."

"No way, Fiona seems so nice," Yvenne muttered, biting her lip and falling silent.

But the growing disdain for Fiona from those around her brought a sly smile to Yvenne's heart. How could Fiona compete with her now?

However, the close friendship between Tyler and Fiona was something she planned to change.
