Blood Oath: Forever Yours

Chapter 58: Don’t Tell Me that You Still Love Me

Chapter 58: Don’t Tell Me that You Still Love Me

Lawrence didn’t speak.

He was sitting in the wheelchair, staring in the direction where Charlotte was, motionlessly. His hands

were on the edge of the wheelchair, the veins popping out on the back of them. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

Lawrence didn’t seem so calm in this way.

Until --

Suddenly, Charlotte got up and straightened her upper body, violent coughing. She struggled to open

her eyes and fainted instantly.

They heard the doctor’s announcement with relief.

“She has recovered her vital signs and passed out temporarily.”

Lawrence’s hands clenched at the edge of his wheelchair were loosened, and he looked relaxed in

silence.

Closing his eyes and twitching his lips, he said in mockery, “If I didn’t do it, how could she have the

lesson learned? There’s a huge price to pay even for death.”

...

When Charlotte woke up, it was almost the early morning of the next day.

She saw the crystal chandelier above her head.

She felt the soft bed under her body.

There was a faint scent from the lavender essential oil, which was her favorite.

She glared at everything in front of her in a daze. After a long while, she finally came back to her

senses. She realized that she was in the apartment that was bought by Lawrence for her deliberately.

“You are awake.” She heard the man’s deep voice.

Lawrence was sitting next to her bed.

He still looked quite cold with bloodshot eyes. There was a laptop on his lap where his legs were still

bandaged. She could tell that he looked a bit tired.

Charlotte looked into his dark and deep eyes, her heart tightened. She couldn’t help but clench her

hands under the quilt.

The next second, she lifted the quilt and sat in front of him.

Looking into his eyes, she said in a gentle voice, “Lawrence, you’ve spent so much effort on doing it

just because you want me to let go of my family’s death and live on.”

As she spoke, suddenly she chuckled in mockery.

“Do you want to tell me that you still love me in such a way after you’ve been living with another

woman?”

Lawrence frowned.

Looking into her aloof and scrutinizing eyes, he suddenly felt a bit angry.

“Love you?” Lawrence squinted at her and said ironically with a sneer.

“Lotta, you are so naive! Even there were no our past or understandings between us, after all, you are

the woman I spent on six million...”

Charlotte’s heart was tightened.

The next second, she didn’t give Lawrence the chance to finish his words before leaning over to him all

of a sudden. With one hand wrapped around his neck, she lowered her head and kissed him.

Lawrence was taken aback.

Her whole body had been clung to him already. Raising her leg, she straddled on the man’s lap. Then

she clumsily and stubbornly drew his lips with her lips.

In such a short distance, he could feel her tremble in nervousness and smell her unique scent from her

body.

He didn’t react, so she became more unrestrained.

Probably it was because the wounds on his legs were touched by her bold movement, Lawrence

creased his brows and groaned.

The next second, his eyes were suddenly darkened. With one hand pressed Charlotte’s back of her

head, he kissed her back fiercely.

“Hmm...”

Charlotte’s body was tightened. She was forced to raise her head, enduring the extremely overbearing

enthusiasm from the man.

The dazzling light of the crystal chandelier on the ceiling reflected a trace of a tear in her eyes secretly.

The man’s breath became heavier gradually.

When his hot lips moved to her ear, he couldn’t help but call her name in a hoarse voice, “Lotta...”

Charlotte raised her arms to wrap around him, letting him do whatever he wanted on her. As soon as

the man reached his hand and touched her skin, she suddenly asked with a smile, “Lance, same as

before right? Shall I turn off the light and lie on the floor?”
