Chapter 970 Will They Get Back Together?

Raymond was sitting in a well-decorated and learning-atmosphere office alone.

Cindy and Anya walked into the office, but they didn't find Dexter.

"He's outside for some business. And he might be back in ten minutes." Raymond stared at Cindy and didn't know why she wanted to look for Dexter.

Then, she went straight to sit on Dexter's chair to wait for him.

Anya was sitting on another couch instead.

Cindy could look at Raymond's even if she lifted her head slightly because Raymond's table and Dexter's table were face-to-face.

But she intently looked away.

Raymond indeed was curious why Cindy wanted to find Dexter and why Cindy could sit on Dexter's chair so recklessly.

Anya wanted to break the silence, so she decided to chat with Raymond. "Professor Drake, how's it going?"

"Not bad." Raymond withdrew his gaze to look at Anya, replying gracefully, "Mrs. Welton, why do you visit our school?"

"I accompanied Cindy to visit Mr. Nielsen," Anya echoed.

"Do you know him?" Raymond asked on purpose.

"I don't, but Cindy does," Anya replied frankly. But as soon as Cindy heard Anya's words, Cindy became unhappy and interrupted Anya coldly. "Anya, please don't share my affair with strangers. I don't like it."

Anya instantly moved her eyebrows to stare at Cindy, thinking, Well, she looks unhappy. Is she angry?

That's true. Cindy still cares about Dexter.

Anya understood Cindy's thought, so she subconsciously chuckled. "OK, I'll shut up."

Hearing their talk, Raymond remained speechless, and he gazed at Cindy with a sulky face.

He thought, Honestly, I have dreamed of her not long ago since I refused Cindy's affection last time.

She even cuddled me coquettishly, and also, I kissed her in my dream.

It was a sweet kiss.

And Raymond didn't care about it as it was only a dream.

But now, Raymond felt he might get a crush on Cindy.

Dexter finally got back to the office when the three kept silent and awkward in it.

The moment he had finished his work, Dexter had rushed back to the office because he knew Cindy would visit him.

He indeed was worried that Cindy and Raymond might get back together.
