Chapter 33 Things that He Wanted

Chapter 33 Things that He Wanted

Sadie had no intention to listen to her subtext, so she didn’t turn her head.

Paige was pissed by her attitude. She couldn’t help herself grabbing her arm, “Sadie Chambers, you

shameless bitch!”

Daisy sensed the tension and rushed to take Paige’s hand away from Sadie. She warned, “Show some

respect, this is a public place!”

“You are nobody. Public place so what? I don’t get to judge what she has done?” Paige kept her chin

up as a sign of arrogance. She sneered, “What a cunt!”

Sadie was suffering from a headache, hearing out her aggressive words, she only glanced at her

emotionlessly, “Watch your mouth, or one day you’ll regret it!”

Finishing her statement, she took Daisy’s hand and walked out of the classroom, leaving Paige there

being angry.

She had had a cold for a few days, but why she still felt dizzy. The pain was strong, especially in the Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

temple.

“Stop there right now, Chambers …” Paige screamed. Meanwhile, she got a phone call. She was so

flattered that she saw Otto’s number. She quickly ho the green button, “Otto …”

“I assume you’ve got off class?” Otto’s voice suggested he was smiling, and he sounded so gentle,

“Are you free at noon? Let’s have lunch together.”

“If you buy me lunch, of course I have time.” Paige got so excited.

Clearly he had ditched Sadie. She was doubtful when she heard the rumor this morning, so she was

surprised that Otto asked her out.

On the other end of the phone, Otto took a look at his watch. He told her the address, and reminded

her nicely, “You don’t have to rush. It’ll take me half an hour to get there from the company.”

Paige’s extremely happy voice came over. She even cheered in a really low voice.

Otto’s smile faded after he hung up the phone. He stood up, head towards the French window and

looked afar with his narrowing eyes.

After he got back the 10 million, he got a call from his father, warning him no to interact with Sadie

anymore. His father added that he couldn’t and shouldn’t mess with her.

Later he got a break-up message from Sadie. He tried to call her, but she either refused to talk or

turned off her phone.

He was kinda shocked that she would even bring it up.

After all, an ugly girl like her should feel lucky that some guy wanted her. But he thought of the call from

his dad, he knew things weren’t that easy.

Why he couldn’t nor shouldn’t mess with her, for Sadie was just an Orphan.

He couldn’t figure it out, so he had no choice but to ask his dad.

His dad threw some materials involving him embezzling public funds. He scolded, “If they have a way

to get this, they definitely fuck YH Group up.”

Until that moment, Otto realized the pair of locks Sadie had was related to that person.

He pretended to be a nice guy in front of Sadie just to get those locks. He didn’t expect that they were

lost.

He was about to quit, then Libby told him the locks may be in the hand of that money-mad dean.

The dean was sick recently, so he continued his plan.

In a cruel twist of fate, he intended to coax her into searching for the locks when he gave her the

presents that he bought from overseas. Well, she broke up with him first.

In a determined way.

Otto squeezed between his eyebrows and turned around. He dialed his assistant and asked her in.

The PA thought he was bothering by what to eat, so she asked the moment she stepped in the office,

“Mr. Newman, do you prefer takeout or dine out today?”

“Call YLI and book a table by the window. I’ll be there in a minute.” He took the coat on the chair and

put it on slowly. “Tell the driver to get ready.”

“Got it.” The PA answered and left the office in a respectful way.

Otto lifted his wrist to check the time. An evil smile raised on his face.

No one could break up with him like that. He wanted it, then he would find a way to get it.

If those locks really belonged to that guy, he would be the winner of this game. He had the confidence

to deal with that ugly woman.

At the west gate of Communication University.

Sadie dawdled to the side of the road and opened the door of the Rolls-Royce unwillingly with her pale

face.

Julian put down the files and leaned over. He measured her temperature by hi lips. Once he knew she

didn’t have a fever, he kissed her and sat back.

It wasn’t a large room in the car, for a few times, Sadie almost threw up, so she turned down the

window.

For no reason, she didn’t feel any better. She couldn’t remember anything, and the only thing she

wanted to do was to cry out loud.

“The class tired you?” Julian noticed her strange behave, which made him frown unconsciously, “Do

you wanna take a leave for a few more days?”

Sadie stared at him for a while with her hand covering her mouth and put on a sardonic grin, “No.”

He was not someone to her, why he got to decided how her life would be? Their life wouldn’t cross if it

hadn’t for him.

“Fine.” Julian concentrated on his files again.

The car went steadily for some time, and then it stopped in the yard with an very ancient tree in it.

There was also a very common brand standing in front of it –PH Restaurant.

All the Boston ivy added to the tranquility of the little yard, completely different from the busty world

outside.

However the green plants made Sadie feel not so sick. She got off the car before Julian could say

anything.

Looking at all the retro decorations, Sadie felt like going back time. She took a deep breath, then a

sense of relief spread in her chest. Before she turned around, a happy voice flew into her ear. “I

thought you weren’t coming today.”

That soft and raspy sound made her feel so warm.

“I got time for you.” Julian lifted his glasses a little bit, took two steps back and held Sadie’s shoulders

to force her to turn around. “Are you surprised?”

Cohen was a bit startled to see Sadie’s face, but he didn’t let anyone notice. Smiling to Sadie, he

reached out his hands, “Hi, Cohen Palmer, Julian’s friend.”

Sadie shook hands with him using her fingertips, then quickly retreated her hand.

Cohen invited them to go upstairs.

Climbing up the stairs covered in Boston ivy, they opened the door, then the whole second floor came

into view. The beauty of the dining area was more stunning than the view in the yard.

The sun shined right through the French floors. Wooden chairs were put randomly, and along the aisle

were different plants, which gave people a nature vibe.

Those magazines didn’t just kiss the restaurant’s ass. It was literally pleasure to enjoy meal there.

Sadie stopped thinking for a few seconds, later she heard Julian’s loving voice, “Where do you wanna

sit?”

She realized Julian was talking to her, that was why she shook off her goose bumps and headed to a

seat at the corner on purpose.

Julian didn’t show any annoyance. He just deliberately lowered voice and asked Cohen, “Hypnotize

her. I want her to forget all about this.”
