“Ouch…” she groaned, slowly opening her eyes.

As her surroundings came into focus, her pupils constricted in shock. She was in a dilapidated building, looking like an unfinished construction site.

She was tied to a stone pillar.

She had just finished a phone call and was returning to the private room when someone ambushed her with an electric shock!

The pain in her arm had just roused her.

As Belinda contemplated how to save herself, she suddenly heard footsteps approaching. The sound seemed to come from the staircase across from her. Belinda wondered who it could be at such a time.
