I Become A CEO After Divorce

Chapter 19: Better weigh your identity

Chapter 19: Better weigh your identity

Without another word, Zane turned and walked to the door and opened it.

Albi stood in the doorway, "Mr. Lawrence ."

Zane collected his emotions and said in a soft voice, "Send her back." Albi nodded, "Okay."

After that Albi looked to Neve standing in the living room , "Miss Bennett, let me take you back."

Neve collected a few emotions, his face as usual, and smiled at Albi, "Good."

After that Neve reached out and took his phone and bag from the side and walked up to Zane,

"Zane, I'll go back then, remember to drink your soup."

Zane mumbled.

Neve looks over at Albi, who is standing in the doorway.

Albi met Neve's eyes and froze, then reacted and averted her gaze.

Neve stood on her tiptoes and kissed Zane on the side of her face before whispering, "Zane, good

night."

Zane watched Neve follow Albi out, raised his hand to close the door, and turned to go upstairs

when his eyes fell on the coffee table.

After a few seconds of hesitation, Zane lifted his feet and walked to the living room, opened the

thermos box on the coffee table, served some out and tasted it.

The temperature is just right, and it's not too hard to drink.

Then he went into the kitchen with the thermos box, served a bowl out of it and carried it upstairs.

Upstairs master bedroom.

Yanis lying in bed, all in his mind is just Zane and Yanis kissing image, repeatedly how can not

linger.

It is clear that they are the two lovers who are ready to let go of each other.

However, when you see the picture of them together, your heart will still be sad.

Yanis shrank uncontrollably the moment she heard the bedroom door being pushed open.

Listen to the footsteps creeping in, then the man's voice rings out from the bed, "Yanis ?"

Yanis couldn't help but breathe at the sound of the voice, but didn't intend to respond to him.

Zane looked at Yanis shrinking on the bed, his eyebrows slightly moved, put the ginger tea in his

hand on the bedside table, then sat down on the edge of the bed, reached out and gently patted

Yanis's shoulder, "Yanis, wake up."

Yanis uncontrollably shrinks when Zane's hand slaps her on the shoulder.

Zane's hand lingered, then withdrew it, "Get up and drink this."

Apparently Zane already knew that Yanis wasn't asleep.

Yanis stalled for a few seconds, which got up and sat up.

The first time is to roll over and get out of bed.

Zane reached out and grabbed Yanis' arm, "What for?"

Yanis pulled his arm out of Zane's hand, "I'm not drunk, keep it to yourself."

Yanis bent over to put on her shoes and turned her face to look calmly at Zane, "I'll move out as

soon as I can."

After hearing Yanis' words, Zane's good-looking eyebrows wrinkled slightly, and his tone couldn't

help but sink a bit, "Yanis, what are you making a scene about?"

At Zane's words, Yanis laughed softly, "I'm making a scene, Mr. Lawrence, and don't forget we're

already semi-dissociated."

Zane looked at Yanis , "So?"

"So all the more reason for us to be clean and not dwell on it too much."

Zane got up from the bed when he heard Yanis' words, "You mean I'm pestering you?"

Yanis met Zane's deep, dark eyes, "Isn't it?"

Zane was just about to speak when Yanis' voice rang out, "I'm not as promiscuous as Mr.

Lawrence, who cares for his almost-divorced ex-wife while he loves his new lover, can you handle both

sides?"

At Yanis' words, Zane stared at Yanis for a few seconds, "Did you just go out?"

Yanis didn't dodge when she met Zane's eyes, "What? I didn't even make a sound and I'm still

disturbing you? Then why don't I leave now and you bring him up?"

"Yanis!" Zane sank his voice, "Don't go too far!"

Yanis looks at Zane for a few seconds, says nothing, turns around and walks out the door.

Just two steps away, Zane took three or two steps forward and grabbed his wrist, "What the hell do

you want to do?"

Yanis shrugged off Zane and said in a quiet voice, "I hope Mr. Lawrence can find the time to do the

paperwork tomorrow."

Yanis paused after saying, "I'm going to my room."

Yanis didn't plan to leave this late, nor did she plan to have Bonnie come to pick her up, so she

planned to stay at D-king Castle for the night.

When her things are sorted out tomorrow, she won't come back this way in the future.

The door slammed shut in front of Zane, and Zane snapped back to attention, frowning slightly.

Then he turned and sat down on the edge of the bed, his eyes fell on the ginger tea resting on the

bedside table, which Zane felt was in the way.

Just want to reach over to the end to smash, the bedroom door was suddenly pushed open again.

Yanis looks at the bowl Zane is carrying and his eyebrows twitch slightly.

In Yanis' eyes, Zane was just aching for Neve's ginger tea, so even if he didn't get to the point of

drinking ginger tea, he had to drink it, after all, it was Neve's heart.

Yanis entered the door, fished the phone from the bed, and left the bedroom again without a word.

The moment the door closed, Zane slammed the bowl in his hand onto the floor.

The porcelain bowl should be broken, ginger tea scattered all over the floor.

The strong smell of ginger made Zane frown.

Following that, he got up and also left the master bedroom.

Yanis closed the door to her room and leaned her back against the door panel, looking at the

concerned messages from Bonnie and Ivan on her phone.

After reading it, Yanis sent back a separate message.

I was about to take a shower and go to bed when Ivan called.

Yanis answered the phone, "Ivan."

Ivan's voice came over the phone, "Yanis, are you okay?"

Yanis responded, "It's okay, did you guys go back?"

Ivan said, "Bonnie called the chauffeur."

"Bonnie's had too much to drink again?"

"No, we went back after you left."

Yanis didn't know what to say when she heard Ivan's words.

"Ivan ......"

Before Yanis could finish her sentence, the door of the room was suddenly pushed open violently.

As soon as she turned around, she looked at Zane standing in the doorway with a cold face and a

sullen gaze on her.

"Yanis , what's wrong? What's wrong?"

Yanis tried to suppress her temper and said softly, "It's okay, Ivan, I'll hang up now if there's

nothing else."

After Yanis said that, she hung up the phone and looked at Zane standing in the doorway, "What

are you doing?"

Zane was going to go out, but then he walked to the door of Yanis' room by accident.

It just so happened that I heard Yanis call out to Ivan.

Also called so kindly, so he did not resist directly a push open the door.

He just didn't expect Yanis to be standing behind the door.

I was a bit vain, but I thought Yanis was so gentle to Ivan just now, and when he turned his face to

him, his tone was cold and annoying.

So for a while Zane's anger and temper came up and he looked at Yanis with cold eyes, "Don't you

forget that you Yanis are still my Zane until the formalities are completed, so better weigh your identity!"

Yanis laughed at Zane's comment, "Who am I, Mr. Lawrence?" What am I?This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
