I'm Your Sister, Brother Chow

Chapter 14: His Well-Dressed Appearance

Chapter 14: His Well-Dressed Appearance

Vivian's entire body trembled. The two people at the door stopped abruptly but showed no signs of

shyness, although Celine still pretended to hide behind Chow.

Aunt Blaine walked to Vivian's side and naturally saw Chow and Celine as well. A look of disapproval

immediately flashed across her face.

Aunt Blaine had lived with the Howard family for nearly half her life, and she was already over half a

century old. She'd practically watched Chow grow up in front of her eyes.

Chow had never been close to his parents since he was young, but he had always respected Aunt

Blaine. Although Aunt Blaine was just a helper to the Howard family, Chow had always treated her

respectfully.

Therefore, in this situation, although Aunt Blaine felt somewhat embarrassed, she was not as afraid of

him as others were. She just held the bag of breakfast in her hand and apologised to him. "Young

Master, I'm sorry."

Although Aunt Blaine said sorry, everyone could hear the slight condemnation in her tone.

"It's fine." Chow didn't care about her tone and didn't even look at her. Instead, he stared at the silent

Vivian. "What's wrong with you, Miss? No time to eat breakfast today?"

Vivian grabbed the straps of her backpack and said nothing.

Aunt Blaine naturally responded for her. "Yes, Miss Vivian got up a little late today, so I'm letting her

bring breakfast on the way."

"Is that so?" Chow laughed in a low voice. He licked the corners of his lips meaningfully and whispered,

"Looks like she was really scared last night."

Hearing his words, Vivian's breath hitched. She couldn't help thinking of the reason why she was so

scared last night. Her face turned impeccably red.

Vivian held onto her backpack straps tighter, her nails digging painfully into her palms.

She really didn't want to speak, but she was running incredibly late and blurted out, "I'm going to be

late. I won't bother Brother Chow and Sister Celine anymore. I'll be leaving."

As she spoke, she reached for the breakfast in Aunt Blaine's hand.

However, Vivian was intercepted by another hand that snatched the breakfast away.

It was Chow.

Vivian, Celine, and Aunt Blaine were all stunned.

"Chow..." Celine had already tidied up her clothes. Seeing Chow react this way, she reached out for his

arm as if to remind him of her existence.

Chow furrowed his brows before smiling at her. "Go to work first. I'll send Vivian to school since she's

late."

Vivian was already in her final year of high school and was going to sit for her college entrance exams

soon. Her studies were very important.

Because of Chow, Vivian often skipped study hall in the mornings and evenings. However, regular

classes still started very early in the day, even before normal office hours.

This was why she was so anxious that Chow was still standing at the door with Celine.

However, when did Chow become so kind? Since when did he even care whether she was late or not?NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

Celine was starting to get suspicious. However, she couldn't ask Chow about it in front of Vivian. So,

she just put her hand down and nodded meekly. "Of course, Vivian's studies are more important. Go

ahead and take her to school first."

What she said sounded somewhat normal at first, but one could detect the hint of dissatisfaction in

Celine's words if they paid attention to it.

Vivian was already feeling extremely uncomfortable with Chow's behaviour. She really didn't want him

to send her to school. "I..."

However, Vivian's voice froze when she saw the look in Chow's eyes.
