Chapter 7 The Collins Family
"Remember. You only have seven days..."
After saying that, Chris left with his wife and daughter.
There were hundreds of people at Jefferson Manor at this time, but no one could stop him. They could
only watch him leave.
After he left, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
They glanced at the bodyguards on the ground and were scared.
What a horrible man!
What had he experienced these years?
Felix asked his father with a sullen face, "Father, what should we do?"
Henry snorted, "Seven days? He must be mad. Does he think he can do whatever he wants with his
fists?"
"He's just a tramp. How dare he threaten us? Crazy man."
"He should have some mental problems. We must be careful. The police can't do anything even if they
kill someone."
The Jefferson family came back to their senses when they heard what Henry said.
In their eyes, Chris was just a madman.
They should not even take a madman's words seriously.
"So is this coffin really made of pure gold?"
Lorie went to the coffin, knocked at it, and asked curiously.
"That's impossible. It must be just irons. He just gilded it."
"He is really mad. Perhaps he thinks he can make it gold if he gilds it."
"Ha!"
They laughed and mocked.
"Felix, when will the big shot come? Take this coffin away. Don't let the big shot see it."
Henry adjusted himself and asked Felix.
"He should have been here long ago. Let me make a call and ask about it..."
Then Felix called someone.
After he hung up the phone, he reported to his father with a sad face, "Father, the big shot came here
just now, but he left."
"He said that we are stupid and annoying pigs!"
"What? He came here just now and then left!"
"He must have been scared by that madman!"
"It must be that. We have a madman in our family. What a shame!"
These words made Henry even angrier. He roared, "Chris Shelby! He must die!"
Chris scared the big shot and ruined the plan of the Jefferson family.
At the thought of their broken dream, they all wanted to kill Chris.
...
Esther was still in shock after they went out of the hotel.
Hope was in a daze. She didn't even know what had happened.
"Chris, we..."
Esther looked at Chris and wanted to say something.
Chris smiled, "Esther, I know you have many questions. You suffered a lot, but I'm back now. Those
who bullied you will pay for that. The Jefferson family is the first one!"
Esther was moved by his words.
She had really suffered a lot in the past five years.
She thought that would be just it all her life, but to her surprise, Chris took revenge for her just when he
came back!
Esther asked in confusion, "Chris, will the Jeffersons really apologize to me?"
Chris smiled, "Don't worry. If they dare to refuse, I'll wipe them off from the world."
Chris looked domineering when he said these words.
Esther didn't take his words seriously. After all, the Jefferson family was big. How could Chris destroy it
alone?
However, she still felt happy after she heard that.
Ring!
At this moment, Esther's phone rang.
After she hung up the phone, she looked a little weird.
Chris asked, "What's going on?"
Esther hesitated for a while and answered, "It's my mom. She said that they are holding a family
banquet today at Collins Manor. She asked me to say some nice words to Grandpa Michael."
Chris smiled, "That's good. I'll go with you. I haven't seen your parents since I came back."
"OK!"
Esther nodded. They bought some gifts and went to Collins Manor.
...
The Collins family was not that powerful in Easter Coast.
It was a family banquet today, so the members of the Collins family came to the manor early.
Esther's mother, Susan Jefferson, and Esther's father, John Jefferson, were standing in the corner.
The Collins all looked at them with mockery.
John and Susan were embarrassed when they saw those eyes.
Before what happened five years ago, Susan had been so much respected by the family, as the wife of
the eldest son of the Jefferson family.
But now...
They were like jokes for the Collins, because of Chris.
"Look. Esther and her daughter are coming!"
"Hey, there is a man with her. Is that Chris Shelby? When did he come back?"
When Chris went into the hall, all the members of the Collins family were shocked.
"Dad, Mom!"
Chris ignored those eyes and greeted John and Susan.
Susan got angry as soon as she saw Chris.
They wouldn't have suffered so much if it were not for Chris.
"Why do you come back? You made us suffer a lot!" Susan roared to Chris.
Chris said sorry, "Sorry, Mom. That's all my fault. Now I'm back. I'll make up for my mistakes." Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
Susan looked Chris up and down and when she noticed his plain clothes, she snorted, "How can you
make up for your mistakes?"
"Mom, that's enough. Chris is back and we finally have a complete family."
Esther hurriedly spoke up for Chris.
In her eyes, Chris was her husband, and it would never change!
Susan looked at Esther with red eyes.
She said angrily, "My good daughter, Chris made you suffer so much. You still spoke for him. How silly
you are!"
Susan couldn't control her mood as soon as she thought of those sufferings in the past five years.
"Mom, since I am back, I will make sure you can live a good life."
"I will never leave Esther alone. I'll make her the happiest woman in the world."
"As for the Jefferson family, I've visited them and asked them to apologize to Esther in seven days.
Otherwise, I will simply wipe the Jefferson family off the city."
Chris said this seriously and honestly.
