The engineer had flown to Adania and spent a week perfecting its design. Hundreds of drafts were designed just for the external casing alone. "It's waterproof and shockproof, so she can't really damage it," Damien remarked with a smile, setting down his teacup. His dark eyes held an affectionate gaze as he glanced lightly at Cherise. "But as a precaution, I had it turned off while she was playing with it just in case she accidentally dialed any number. If that happened, my business partners would hear my wife's habit of singing in the bathtub."

Cherise fell silent, feeling utterly mortified. If there were a hole nearby, she would have gladly leaped into it at that moment. Last night, she was merely drinking with Lucy, who ended up consuming too much alcohol. Cherise had taken the alcohol away from Lucy but somehow ended up drinking it herself. She couldn't recall anything that happened afterward. She covered her flushed face with her icy hands. "Did I really do that last night?"

Damien nodded casually. "I recorded your antics on my tablet. Want to take a look?"

Cherise remained speechless, her mind racing with embarrassment and regret. Mandy cleared her throat delicately, speaking up cautiously. "Can I see it?"

Cherise retorted sharply, "Oh, shut up!" She pouted and looked at Damien, aggrieved. She lowered her voice. "Even if I did go a bit overboard last night when I was drunk, you didn't have to call me out in front of my best friends, did you?"

Cherise fell silent. That seems to be the case. She pursed her lips, unable to stay angry at Damien but still wanting to retain her dignity. "Pour me a cup of tea, and I'll forgive you."

"Your wish is my command," Damien replied with a faint smile, pouring a cup of tea for Cherise and even blowing on it considerately before handing it to her.

"Tsk. How sweet," Mandy teased, playfully waving her hand to dismiss Damien. "We have one woman who just had her heart broken and another perpetually single woman here. Aside from being affectionate with Cherise, you're not helping our cause, so please take off!"

"Are you kicking me out already?" Damien chuckled. "I haven't even started properly showing affection yet." With a mischievous grin, he scooped up Cherise beside him and pulled her into a hug, planting a firm kiss on her lips.

Cherise was momentarily breathless as Damien suddenly held her tightly in his arms. She struggled for a long time before he released her. His deep, amused voice rang above her head, "That's how I show affection."

Mandy was dumbstruck. She exclaimed, "Get out! No public displays of affection in front of me! It's too much!"

Meanwhile, at the side, Lucy stayed composed, taking out her phone and opening the camera app. "I'm recording all of this..." She grinned mischievously and looked at Mandy. "Who do you think will pay me first to send this video to the other person when they argue in the future? Lovey-dovey footage like this, when they're not arguing, is the best tool for reconciliation during an argument!"

"I bet it's Mr. Lenoir!" Mandy exclaimed, momentarily caught off guard before chuckling. "Cherise is so broke. She definitely won't pay you."
