"What did you say?!" Rowan's eyes widened as he was enraged.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please spare me." Clarence quickly fell to his knees and bowed.

The might of the Vance family and Rowan's fierce reputation terrified him.

'We're done for...' Simone thought.

That was what the entire staff of the hospital thought.

"You're a quack!" Rowan yelled. "What kind of trash hospital is this that you can't

even deal with such a small problem? I'll destroy this hospital!"

Rowan's tantrum made everyone go quiet.

"What's all this noise? Shut up!" said a sudden voice.

Everyone froze as they looked toward the source of the voice.

It was Dustin!

He had actually dared to shout at Rowan!

The hospital staff were surprised.

Dustin really had a death wish.

"Dustin, have you gone mad?" Simone was flabbergasted. She quickly tried to pull Dustin aside.

Rowan was not someone they could afford to offend!

"What did you say, punk?" Rowan's eyes narrowed as anger exuded from him in waves. He glared daggers at Dustin.

"Are you deaf? I asked you to keep quiet. It's prohibited to cause a commotion in the hospital," Dustin chastised.

His words terrified the staff.

Rowan's face instantly turned icy.

"You really want to die, punk?" Rowan smiled sinisterly.

"Cripple him!" Rowan ordered the suited men.

The group of men approached Dustin.

"You dare to attack My Liege?" Drake, who had been silently following along all this while, stepped forward.

A chain of thuds rang out like gunshots.

With speed so fast that no one could follow, Drake sent the brawny, suited men flying. They all landed heavily on the floor.

Then, they were lifeless.

All this only took a mere few seconds.

"What?" Rowan was in a daze. He stared at Drake.noveldrama

The power Drake exuded was so potent that Rowan felt goosebumps rise on his skin.

"Who are you?" he asked. "Are you sure you want to go against the Vance family?"

"Who cares about the Vance family? I've never even heard of you." Drake scoffed. "Anyone who dares to attack My Liege, no matter how powerful, deserves to die!"

Rowan was taken aback. Drake was not scared of the Vance family at all.

He looked at Dustin.

An elite fighter like Drake was very rare. Yet, he considered Dustin his master.

"If you're looking for medical

treatment, you should act like it," Dustin said in displeasure. "If you don't want treatment, you can leave at any time. Don't throw a tantrum in the hospital like a madman. It's annoying to watch."

Simone and the hospital staff looked at Dustin in a daze.

How could Dustin tell Rowan off so calmly? Was he really not scared? This was

the Vance family from Somerton they were talking about!

"You're saying that you can treat my father?" Rowan asked. He was slightly taken aback.

"It's just a small thing." Dustin looked unbothered.

"Alright!" Rowan huffed. “If you can really cure my father, I will personally apologize to you! But if you can't, I'll be even more unreasonable! will use all the Vance family's power to make you pay!"

"Stop threatening me with your family's power," said Dustin and scoffed.

What was so impressive about the Vance family anyway?

"Alright, move aside." Dustin waved Rowan off.
