Chapter 159 Let Him Give Up
Natalie was speechless, "..."
"I have bought all my colleagues coffee." She explained, "Well, I happened to meet Saul in the morning
and I just got a do for him."
Kendrick understood her, "The friendship between the classmates is rather deep and it is reasonable to
pay for a cup of coffee for all of them!"
She denied it, "It's just an ordinary classmate. Well, I haven't seen him for a long time and I've almost
forgotten about him."
"You don't remember him, but he really cares about you instead." He told her another fact thoughtfully,
"Well, when you were on leave for the past few days, he had asked HR about you many times. He
asked whether you were sick and wanted to visit you!"
Obviously, Saul had some feelings for her as he did that.
But he never spoke it out.
Kendrick looked at her and found that she was stunned and didn't believe it at all. He felt that she was
cute, but it made him worried.
How could she be so attractive?
"I don't know!"
She had never heard of that.
He just told her about it and gave her a warning.
What Saul felt for her was never a simple classmate friendship.
Kendrick hummed and said to her gently but forcefully, "Then why don't you make it clear and let him
give up!"
He lifted her chin slightly and stared at her eyes, not allowing her to have any hesitation.
That was Kendrick.
He would never be ambiguous or back down on anything that he considered important.
It was the first time that Natalie had encountered such a matter. She frowned, unsure whether Kendrick
was being oversensitive or Saul did have some feelings for her.
But Kendrick was rather assertive.
As for other issues, he could indulge her or even turn a blind eye.
It didn't matter who she wanted to punish or teach lessons, as long as she felt happy.
However, as for love, he would ever leave any trouble behind.
She scratched her hair and said, "What if he just thinks that we are classmates and thus cares about
me?"
"You think it's just a concern from a classmate?"
Did Nat know nothing about men at all?
Kendrick still said with a good temper at the moment, "A man will merely care about a girl when he
likes her. Get it?"
He didn't want to talk about it anymore. He touched her face and said, "I believe that you can handle it
well."
It was rather normal for someone smart and beautiful like her to be loved by another man.
Kendrick knew it clearly.
But he wouldn't do anything to her!
As for those men who couldn't control their feelings and crossed the line, he would never soften his
heart when he dealt with them.
...
There would be a live broadcast of beauty and skin care at six o'clock in the evening.
As it was near the end of the big promotion, the scale of the live broadcast was rather important.
Natalie and Sadie went there together.
"The live broadcast will last for six hours and there must be more lottery draws in the middle to mobilize
the enthusiasm of the audience." Natalie instructed, "Does Nono run the second half live broadcast?"
"Yeah. And a cute guy is allocated! He will be responsible for the lottery draw."
What he needed to do was to show up in the live broadcast and announce the winners.
Nothing was important except for his good-looking face.
"Is he from the live broadcast team?"
"No. I ask for help from another team."
They walked into the live broadcast room. Sadie just ran over from a distance and said, "God Saul, you
come here so early, don't you? Your show just starts at eight o'clock!"
Natalie took a closer look. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Saul? Not again?
Sadie turned back and whispered to Natalie, "This is Saul from the department of New Energy. Well, he
is also very good at playing games and we all call him God Saul. He will make a guest appearance in
the lottery draw. He has a good-looking face, doesn't he?"
Natalie's lips curled down and she tried to calm herself down.
Saul had clocked off, but he still came to another department to help with their work.
To put it nicely, he didn't care about the boundaries of different departments and had a strong sense of
responsibility.
As for the specific reason, well!
Saul came over and said hello to both Sadie and Natalie. He asked kindly, "Have you had dinner? How
about joining me for it?"
"I have!" Natalie said in a rather cold voice.
"Sure, why not!" Sadie couldn't hide her excitement with her voice full of surprise even.
Natalie and Sadie just looked at each other.
Sadie was rather surprised, "Natalie, when do you have dinner?"
Natalie waved her hand, "You two go. I'm not hungry!"
"Aren't you?" Sadie asked her again, "Shall I pack some food for you?"
Natalie just pushed Sadie away and whispered in her ear, "Just seize the opportunity I have created for
you. I don't want to play gooseberry."
"Why don't we admire the view of a handsome man together? Well, I'm not selfish at all." said Sadie
generously.
Natalie was speechless, "..."
"Then we go there first and we will pack it for you later."
"Right. You go then!" Natalie beckoned them to leave quickly, "I'll check the discount again!"
The live streaming equipment next to her was undergoing debugging now.
A pile of densely packed wires on the ground hadn't been collected yet.
The colleague in charge of debugging stepped on the electric wire accidentally and the live streaming
rack just fell down towards Natalie.
"Watch out!"
Suddenly a few sounds were heard in the live broadcast room.
Natalie smelt the danger. Subconsciously, she protected her head and was about to sidestep, but she
found that someone had rushed over and raised his hand to block the falling equipment.
A muffled sound was heard.
Natalie turned her face.
She felt that there was nothing she could do to clear her name this time.
...
Natalie calmed down quickly and checked whether Saul was all right.
She found that his right hand was swollen badly. Obviously, he just broke it.
The live streaming equipment was rather heavy.
Saul just used his hand to prevent the equipment from hitting her directly. He was a bit silly, wasn't he?
Immediately, Natalie asked Sadie to accompany her to the hospital for examination and treatment,
while she would stay in the live broadcast room to check the equipment and supervise the safety,
making sure that the live broadcast could start on time with no delay.
At eight o'clock, Sadie told Natalie that Saul's right hand was broken and was now being treated.
Probably, he needed hospitalization.
"Then it will be treated as work-related injury and our department will pay the bill." Natalie said, "Just
keep his company! I will come here later!"
Sadie sent her a sticker which meant she had no idea whether to laugh or cry.
The live broadcast ended at ten o'clock. Natalie called Kendrick and told him what had happened
generally.
Kendrick remained silent for a moment.
"Was the injury serious?"
"He broke his hands and needed hospitalization."
Saul was injured?
Kendrick pressed his brow.
Actually, it was not something small.
After all, he had special status and he had the support of the Williamson family.
As she got no answer from him for a long time, she didn't know what he was thinking about. She was a
bit anxious. As she was just about to speak, he said, "Don't worry, Nat. I will go there with you!"
