Chapter 1537: The Answer
Chapter 1537: The Answer
After Ayan finished speaking, no one else had any objections.
Then Horace asked, "The police still haven't come up with any clear results. Will this give the public the impression that we want to delay this matter?"
Mr. Nores also chimed in, "Hmm, that's what I think too. So we need to investigate ourselves and report the progress through official channels."
"I disagree," Ayan spoke up.
If we report the investigation progress every day through official channels, it will give everyone a sense of involvement in this matter. If someone intends to cause trouble, it will be easy for them to interfere.
So Ayan doesn't agree with this approach. He said, "I specifically requested the police to keep all investigation progress strictly confidential until they uncover the truth. So I hope everyone will abide by this agreement. Later, I will have Kian send the agreement contract to everyone's email. Sign it, and tomorrow Kian will personally come to collect it."Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Ayan took these steps as a precautionary measure. He wouldn't allow any unexpected incidents among them. If they couldn't guarantee it, then the people below them certainly couldn't either. After Ayan spoke, everyone was in agreement.
Tonight's main topic was the confidentiality of this matter and the things to be aware of because Ayan didn't believe that the matter would simply end like this. The current calmness was like the surface of the sea before a tsunami, just the calm before the storm.
The video conference ended at this point, but Ayan didn't rush downstairs. Instead, he sat in his chair and lit a cigarette.
He rarely smoked nowadays, but when he encountered troublesome matters, he would have a cigarette. However, he usually extinguished it after a few puffs.
The study's window was open, and faint voices of women could be heard from outside. Only Ayan stood up and walked to the window to look down. It was Camille and Sienna.
Only their voices could be heard, as they were sitting inside a pavilion, so they couldn't be seen.
Sienna was sharing the conversation she had with the designer tonight with Camille. She took out her wedding photo from her phone and showed it to Camille. Camille was stunned and asked, "Isn't this the one I designed for you?"
"Yes, it is. You designed it for me. Now I have a use for it, right? Of course, I'm going to use it. Or do you want to take it back?" Sienna raised an eyebrow, in a very good mood. She said, "Are you trying to claim copyright?"
Camille remained silent for a while. She was deeply moved, extremely moved. Her emotions were indescribable.
Sienna also noticed her excitement. She gently shook her body and said, "Darling, can't believe it? Are you so touched?"
Camille looked up and met Sienna's gaze. Her voice was very hoarse, "I'm happy. You remembered."
"Fool, how could I forget?" Sienna held Camille's arm. "We don't need many words between us. Even if we have disagreements in the future, we promise to make up after venting our anger. No cold wars, no breaking up. Otherwise, I'll really draw circles in my heart."
"Do you think I won't draw circles in my heart?" Camille snorted.
Both of them couldn't help but laugh.
They chatted for a while until Rex called to urge them to go home and rest.
Camille accompanied Sienna to the front door, and they clung to each other, turning back three times. Rex was waiting for Sienna at the door, while Camille watched her at the door.
Returning home was just a few steps away, but it took several minutes.
Even Rex couldn't help but say, "You two act like you can't bear to be apart."
Camille and Sienna both laughed, then they each went back to their respective homes.
Camille closed the door behind her and turned to enter the house. Just as she reached the entrance, she saw Ayan coming down from upstairs. Their eyes met, and he softly asked, "Are you done with your busy day?"
Ayan nodded and said, "Finished talking with Sienna?"
"Yes, just got home."
He walked towards Camille, raised his hand, gently touched her hair, and then held her hand as they sat down in the living room. He asked, "What did you talk about?"
Camille briefly mentioned a few things, including Sienna's wedding photos.
Taking the opportunity, Ayan asked, "What about you? Have you thought about when we should take our wedding photos?"
Camille paused for a moment and stared into Ayan's eyes, saying, "I don't know."
Well, not now.
He noticed a slight change in Camille's expression and asked, "Don't you want to take them?"
Camille shook her head, of course.
She said, "It's not that I don't want to. I just don't want to feel pressured into it just because Sienna and Rex did. I want both of us to feel the right timing and really desire the wedding photos and the ceremony."
Because wanting something because someone else has it is very different from wanting something you've already desired.
Camille pressed her lips together, feeling a mix of emotions, but she decided to be clear with Ayan. "I really don't mean that I don't want to take wedding photos with you. You won't misunderstand me, will you? Seeing her careful demeanor, Ayan couldn't help but smile.
He said, "I'm not upset, nor do I
misunderstand you. I just wanted to
know your thoughts. If you want to take them now, I'll contact the photographer and designer. If you have any ideas, just let me know, and we can discuss and decide together."
"I don't have many ideas. At least, for now, I don't want to take wedding photos." In fact, Camille didn't have a clear vision of her wedding and
ceremony. With their child alres meto
here, she felt those things were distant. She even thought it didn't matter whether they took the photos or not, as long as the person with
her was Ayan, everything would be
fine.
Camille's straightforward response surprised Ayan, but he asked, "Why don't you want to? Can you tell me? Is there any concern?"
"No concerns, just feel that we're
too busy right now. I don't want this
matter to distract you. I want our
wedding and wedding photos to be beautiful memories, not something that brings trouble because we neglected our work for them. That

wouldn't make us happy right?"
Facing Ayan, Camille looked into his eyes and said, "I'm being completely honest. I don't want this matter to create any conflicts or distance between us. You should understand, right?" "Just because you're afraid it would bring trouble and burden to me, and not for any other reason, right?" Ayan didn't answer her but asked his own question.
He needed a definite answer, and only after getting that answer could he have peace of mind.
Camille nodded emphatically, fearing that Ayan wouldn't believe her. She grabbed his hand and placed it over her heart, saying, "Can you feel my heart? I really, really mean it, hmm?"
