My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2255

Seeing that Zorion had agreed to her request, Yuliana breathed out a sigh of relief.

Hour after hour passed and soon it was dawn.

Zorion was barely hanging on.

He wasn't just cold, he was incredibly sleepy too.

He had mentioned it several times now that he needed to go to sleep, but then chose to keep waiting instead.

His wife was being so kind and gentle to him, he wasn't going to let her down.

Since his wife had asked him to speak to Tremaine, he would do so. Even if he had to walk down a treacherous hill that was on fire, he would do it.

"Zorion, Tremaine is back!" Yuliana suddenly yelped.

Zorion opened his tired eyes.

He looked out of the window and saw Tremaine.

Yuliana then said, "Tremaine is in the garden. Go to him. Do you remember what I told you to say?"

Zorion nodded. "Yes, I remember."

Yuliana then pushed Zorion away. "Then go already!"

Tremaine had returned to the Quartley Palace very late tonight.

But he wasn't tired or sleepy.

He had wanted to drive to Agaphen City right now.

But he decided not to do that.

Because he recalled how distraught Yesseca was the other day.

He had to do this slowly.

He would talk to her about it after she had calmed down.

After taking a walk around the garden, Tremaine was about to go inside when he saw Zorion.

Tremaine was surprised to see him.NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

It was so late, yet his brother was still awake.

"Tremaine!" Zorion rushed over to him. He was dressed in a large cotton-padded jacket.

Anyone who wore a similar looking wore

jacket would took very unflattering, but because of how handsome Zorion was, he looked very good in it. A regular person who wore this would have easily looked overweight or uncouth.

"Brother, why are you still awake at this hour?"

Tremaine frowned.

Zorion was gasping for breath. "Tremaine, I have something to tell you."

Since Zorion had stayed up so late to tell him something, it must be very important. Tremaine focused on Zorion and asked, "What is it?"

Zorion remembered what Yuliana had told him and said, "Tremaine, I wanted to tell you that I love my wife very, very much!"

"Without my wife, I would rather die

than live without her. She is the

living

without her!"

"You must know, I love her very much."

Tremaine was quiet.

"Is this what you wanted to tell me?"

Zorion nodded.

He then yawned. "Well, I'm going to sleep now. You should go to bed as well."

Zorion then turned around and left.

Tremaine narrowed his eyes.

It was already strange enough for Zorion to have stayed up late just to tell him this. But right after he said it, he looked relieved, as though he had just completed a task.

"Brother!" Tremaine suddenly shouted to him.

Zorion stopped walking away.

He turned around and rubbed his tired eyes. "What is it, Tremaine? I want to go to sleep now."

Tremaine looked at him and asked, "Have you been waiting for me for a very long time?"

He nodded.

He then said wearily, "Tremaine, I've been waiting for you for so long. I get so sleepy when I'm cold."

Tremaine's face hardened as he asked, "Who told you to say all of that to me?"

"Yu..." Just then, Zorion stopped himself and then cleared his throat. He then said, "No one. I told you that because I wanted to." Tremaine's face hardened as his eyes turned cold.
