Chapter 41
L-ily Clyne did not give up, regardless of whether he looked at it or not, she continued to finish the story
[The monk told the scholar that the female corpse was the previous life of his fiancee and that he was the second person to pass by. The reason for his love in this life was to repay the favor of sending him clothes in his previous life and to repay the third person in his entire life.]
The story ended.
Alice Clyne thought that in the outcome of Patrick Miller's previous life, Mary Clyne had only been the third person to pass by. As for her, she was the second, and maybe, she was only the first to directly walk away.
William Cullen suddenly no longer sent her a message.
She was probably baffled by her long story.
Shi Xiaonian's eyes dimmed as she put away her phone and walked forward. Suddenly, her phone started to vibrate.
[What if a fourth person has died?] What will happen in the next life?]
What if it was a corpse?
Alice Clyne stared at the words.
Telling this story to William Cullen was a mistake.
He had made her lose her all sadness! This pervert!
Alice Clyne was too lazy to reply. She returned the phone back to her pocket and walked towards the back door of the church. If she couldn't meet William Cullen, she had to slip away.
Halfway there, she stopped.
William Cullen was obviously looking for her, and would definitely send people to block her at the back door. If she wanted to slip away, she would have to avoid using the usual route.
After thinking for a moment, Alice Clyne walked towards a multicolored window, pushed it open, and jumped out. The Isle of the Clouds was filled with pigeons, and when she jumped down, all of them flapped their wings and flew into the air. OK, freedom.
Alice Clyne clapped her hands and turned around, a tall and sturdy black suit bodyguard standing there. Both of his hands were placed in front of her, and he lowered her head to her, and said respectfully: "Alice
Clynen, Mr. Cullen is waiting for you."
Even every window was blocked.
Alice Clyne could not run away, she could only follow the bodyguard and leave.
With a unique western flavor, she faced the sea. Linder the umbrella of the sun, William Cullen sat in front of the table, crossed his legs and lazily played with his phone with an emotionless face.
He was surrounded by a group of bodyguards who protected him well.
The sea breeze was warm and comfortable.
Alice Clyne slowly walked towards him.
William Cullen raised his eyes and looked at her. His eyes were filled with anger, and he spoke unhappily: What are you doing? Hide from me?"
"Nope."
Alice Clyne said as she stood in front of him.
"You ran faster than a rabbit?"William Cullen ridiculed, his gaze sweeping over her. "Why can't you tell me that you're a good athlete?" Alice Clyne did not say anything. She only followed William Cullen for a short period of time, but she knew that he was just a bomb that did not have any leads.
"Come here."
William Cullen threw his phone on the table, then hooked his fingers at her.
Alice Clyne walked over to him and he carried her onto his lap. His black eyes looked at her in the deep light and after Alice Clyne struggled a little, he immediately said unhappily, "What? You're not happy about it?"
"Nope."
Alice Clyne forced out a smile, and felt as if she was sitting on pins and needles on his legs.
"I think you're just unhappy!"William Cullen 's face was filled with discontent, his anger almost exploding out.
He had chased her all the way to this lousy island, but she was still running away. She was even unhappy! His time was much more precious than hers! He hadn't even said anything yet!
"There really isn't one."
Alice Clyne said. From afar, the sound of a heavy bell could be heard, it was coming from the direction of the church. She hurriedly said, "The wedding ceremony is about to begin, let's go over."
"What's there to look at?"William Cullen snorted, and he was not here to see the wedding.
"I'm going." Alice Clyne insisted, "You promised me."
"Then let's go."
William Cullen saw that her forehead had started to frown, and didn't continue to make things difficult for her. He gave her a kiss on her face, then pulled her up and walked towards the church.
Seeing that, Alice Clyne tensed up again. She couldn't be thinking of bringing her into the church openly, right?
"Mr. Cullen." Alice Clyne stopped and held onto his sleeve with one hand, "Today is my sister's wedding."
"So what?"
"Yes," he said disapprovingly, staring down at her entwined hand, which gripped his sleeve with its slender hand.
She rarely approached him of her own accord.
"My sister is the center of attention today. I don't want to take away others attention, so can you pretend that you don't know me on the island?" Alice Clyne asked carefully.
William Cullen released her hand and directly put it on his.
It was as if she had taken the initiative to hold his hand.
Alice Clyne was a little speechless.
After doing this, only then did William Cullen react to her words his gaze suddenly became gloomy, as if a dark cloud had covered everything.
Pretend she didn't know him?
Did he embarrass her?
Alice Clyne understood that this was the prelude to his fury, and immediately explained, "I said that Mr. Cullen's influence is too big, the reporters were originally going to surround and interview you, so if I appeared together with you, then they wouldn't report news of my sister's wedding tomorrow."
She was very clear.
William Cullen felt very comfortable being praised, "Of course, my news will naturally surpass them."
So what if they had booked the The Isle of the Clouds, and was called the the most attractive wedding,so what.
However, he had always disliked gossip about his own affairs. He still had to spend manpower and resources to deal with reporters. It was too annoying.
"Yeah."Alice Clyne nodded her head.
"You did a good job with this sister."
William Cullen scoffed at her actions, he was an annoying reporter, but he could not let her go like this. William Cullen looked at the surface of the sea and said, "Tonight, come out and accompany me to visit."
She had to give her some compensation.
"Huh?" Alice Clyne was startled, and she followed his gaze to the surface of the sea and without much thought, agreed, "Alright, I will come out to find you tonight. Then I'll leave first."
Alice Clyne hurriedly shook off his hand and ran in the direction of the church.
William Cullen looked at her back and frowned.
Did she have to run so fast?
Was he a monster?
Looking for her at night, why did he feel like he couldn't be exposed in public?
Who was it that was afraid of being exposed?
Alice Clyne hurriedly returned to the church alone. The ceremony had already
begun, so she quietly returned to her seat.
"Are you alright? You've been gone for so long, are you feeling unwell?"
The foster mother pulled her and asked in a small voice.
"It's fine. Let's watch the ceremony."
Alice Clyne smiled as she shook her head and looked ahead.
The church was a huge Romanesque cathedral, with Roman pillars supporting a
strong artistic feeling. It was grand and solemn.
The Cleric stood in front of the two newbies.
Mary Clyne's white wedding dress attract everybody's attention, and her figure looked even more graceful with its curves. It was said that the wedding dress was a masterpiece created by a master in Milan. The Swallow Crystal on the wedding dress had already been embellished over a thousand hours ago, and it was worth tens of millions.
It was enough to see how much Patrick Miller loved Mary Clyne.
The two of them swore in front of the priest, their backs facing the audience.
Alice Clyne watched on unblinkingly. Long ago, she had never thought that Patrick Miller would marry someone else. That person was still her younger sister.
They had finally succeeded.
She couldn't tell what she was feeling at the moment, but the memories once again swept over her, and she couldn't help it -
"Alice, draw me better."
"Alice, you must always stay by my side."
"If you're not here, even if I see the whole world, I don't know where I'll go."
"If I lose my memory, remember to let me find my memories. I will forget about
anyone but don't forget about you."
The past and present intertwined.
Alice listened as Patrick used a determined voice to say "Yes, I do", and the
scenes from the past gradually faded away.
The phone suddenly vibrated to break her mood.
Alice Clyne lowered her head and took out her phone.
[What are you crying about when your little sister gets married? Feeling so
moved, you must be crazy!]
He scolded her again.
Alice Clyne reached out her hand to touch her face. Her fingertips were wet, and it
turned out that she was really crying.
However, her heart didn't hurt because she was already numb to it. Everyone was looking at the new couple, so Alice Clyne lowered her head and
gently wiped away her tears. She turned her head, and in the middle of the row, William Cullen sat right in the middle.
He didn't look at the new couple. She turned and saw him.
William Cullen shook his phone at her, and the expression on his face could not
be seen clearly, probably just anger or the domineering expression of someone ordering her.
Alice Clyne did not care about him, after a while, her phone started to vibrate again.
[Heyl] Damn woman, reply me with a text message!]
Boring.
Alice Clyne shook her head. He could always ruin her sorrowful mood, and she
didn't know whether to hate him or to thanks him.
She looked up again.noveldrama
In this segment, Mary was swearing.
"I remember the first time you held my hand, I joked that a girl's hand cannot be
held casually, and that she must be held responsible; if you say so, then you will be held responsible for the rest of your life. I thought, we should be able to walk for a lifetime."
Shi Di chanted the oath with the card in her hand, her voice sweet and touching.
There was a round of applause in the church, and someone's eyes turned red when he heard it.
Alice Clyne looked at Patrick Miller, and Patrick stood straight, staring deeply into her eyes, so deep in love, so beautiful.
He looked fine, but the blue veins in his forehead and the taut contours of his features betrayed his patience.
His head should still be aching, but in order for Mary to have a perfect wedding,
Patrick only took one pill and endured the pain.
The phone vibrated again.
William Cullen was not finished.
Alice Clyne took out her phone helplessly. As expected, it was another text message from William Cullen.
[You haven't answered me yet. In the previous life, the fourth raped the corpse.
Then, what will they become in his next life?]
He was still struggling with this question!
Alice Clyne really wanted to drag William Cullen onto the blacklist. She grinded
her teeth in anger and angrily typed in the words on her phone.
What do you think?
