Chapter 43
T —he The Isle of the Clouds moved further and further away from them, shrinking into a glowing small island.
The moonlight was cool on the dark sea.
Alice Clyne stood on the deck facing the wind, her hand on the guard rail. Suddenly, she felt that it was very good to visit on a yacht in the middle of the night because the wind could carry away all the negative emotions.
"Hey, I didn't want you to come up here as silent as a corpse!"
William Cullen's dissatisfied voice came from behind her. He walked over, his long legs leaning on the fence, his back facing the fence, and a pair of black eyes staring at her unhappily.
"I think it's a good time to enjoy the scene in peace, and I don't know what to say."
Alice Clyne said honestly.
"Then discuss why you don't send me a text." William Cullen 's face was gloomy and displeased.
This was the first time he had sent a text message to a woman, and she didn't reply.
How she ignored him.
"Uh, my phone is out of battery. It doesn't have a charging line." Alice Clyne found
an excuse.
"What's your mobile phone system?"
"N.E." Alice Clyne blurted out.
Hearing that, William Cullen sneered, "Any N.E. system's mobile phones can be charged with electricity, and on this island, there are places to charge."
The lie was exposed without mercy.
Alice Clyne didn't know how to react. She reached out to rub her nose and saw that his face was growing uglier.
William Cullen looked towards the direction she pointed. Under the night sky, the sea surface was shining with a bright light, and some of the sea monsters started to swim towards the surface, leaving behind a ray of bright light.
"So beautiful."
Originally, she only wanted to divert William Cullen 's attention, but when she saw the broken pieces of light on the surface of the sea, Alice Clyne was completely attracted, "What is that? How can it light?"
She had never known the sea to be so beautiful at night.
William Cullen retracted his gaze and looked at Alice Clyne.
Alice Clyne stood there, her hands pressing on the fence, her beautiful almond eyes curiously gazing at the sea, her small nose, and her pale lips, her smile, her long hair which were blown around by the wind, a few strands landing on her white face, her black hair landing on her lips.
William Cullen glared at the strand of hair on her lips, feeling an indescribable surge of jealousy.
He was jealous of the hair.
He scooped her up in his arms, lowered his head, and kissed her lips.
Her lips were soft and tasty.
"Hmm."
Alice Clyne opened her eyes wide in shock. What happened to him again?
She did not dare resist, and she could only endure his sudden kiss, which was overbearing, as if he wanted to swallow her whole. She was breathless from it.
Suddenly, he picked her up and spun.
By the time Alice Clyne managed to react, she was already out of the barrier, and was standing on the fence. She was completely in the air, and only by relying on his arm around her waist so that she can not fall into the sea.
Meanwhile, the yacht was still at sea.
She listened to the wind blow in her ears.
"Ah "Alice Clyne cried out, as she
frantically hugged William Cullen 's neck, "What are you doing, I'll fall down."
She had no sense of security.
"That's not good. You can ask what that glowing object is." William Cullen
laughed, he raised his eyebrows and once again kissed her lips, carefully tasting
it.
It felt good to kiss her lips against the sea breeze.
"Don't be like this!"
Alice Clyne panicked. Both of her hands held onto him tightly as she stomped on the ground to get up. But just as she stepped on the fence, he was kicked down by William Cullen with a sharp kick.
She stepped on the fence again, and he kicked her down.
After going through it a few times, Alice Clyne felt that she was clearly on the brink
of death, and her soul was almost floating.
"Stop messing around. If you want me to die, then let go. Don't torture me like this."
The feeling of being suspended in the air was too terrifying.
"I'll torture you, what can you do to me?" William Cullen smirked, and wrapped his
arms around her waist, his lips moving across her face.
The yacht was still moving.
Alice Clyne hugged him tightly, his legs no longer stepping on the fence.
This time, William Cullen did not kick her leg again.
He kissed her, a look of triumph in his eyes.
Normally, he would be as stiff as wood when he touched her, but now, he had already taken the initiative to hug her.
It was only after a long while he finally carry her over to her side. When he let go
of her hands, she directly threw herself onto the clean deck, her legs feeling weak, her head covered in cold sweat.
This man is a good torturer.
Every time she was forced to walk a circle around the gates of hell.
He stretched his arms and hands a little sore. If not for his training every day, she would have really fallen down.
"Whooosh."
Alice Clyne was reincarnated as she breathed heavily. Her chest rose and fell, drawing a beautiful curve.
William Cullen 's gaze could not help but deepen.
"Young Master." The bodyguard brought out two glasses of red wine.
"Is that all you've got courage?"William Cullen said disdainfully to her, taking the
two glasses of red wine, he sat down beside her and handed one to her, "Drinking some to suppress your shock."
"Is it fun to scare me?"
Alice Clyne propped herself up from the deck.
"You should be glad that you lied to me. I was only scaring you."He said, he picked up his wine cup and took a sip. The line from his chin to his neck was extremely sexy.
She should be already very grateful to him. If it was his usual temper, she would have already fed the shark.
"Really? Then, thank you so much."
Suddenly, she was pulled over by William Cullen again. She weakly leaned into
his embrace, not bothering to resist anymore as she tilted her head and drank the
red wine.
She did need to calm down.
The scene just now was too terrifying.
Alice Clyne looked into the distance. It was a very late night, and the ocean water seemed to be without lens, its distant surface was shining with light. Occasionally, a school of fish would jump out and hide.
It was really beautiful.
She leaned on Gong Ou's chest and looked at the beautiful scenery, and could not help but sigh.
Previously, she felt that Patrick Miller would not marry anyone else; later on, she felt that the day on which his marriage with Mary Clyne must have been the most miserable and devastating day of her life.
But now, it was not like that at all.
She was actually here admiring the night on the sea. She didn't cry nor did she want to die from despair.
Sometimes life is really strange.
"What are you thinking about?" William Cullen lowered his head to look at the person in his embrace.
"Look at the scenery. Isn't it beautiful?"
she said.
"I've really never seen the world."
He ridiculed her, "This is already beautiful, next time I will bring you to the deep
sea."
"The bottom of the sea is very beautiful?"
"Of course."
Alice Clyne leaned on his chest, and quietly looked into the distance by herself.
William Cullen held her in his arms, and suddenly moved his hands up and down her body.
She frowned and was about to stop him when Daniel walked over and reported, "Young master, something has happened in The Isle of the Clouds."
Alice Clyne was stunned.
"What is it?" William Cullen asked, his tone not showing any signs of concern.
"I just received a phone call. It is said that the groom disappeared before the banquet, and even now no one find him. It is a complete mess right now. Everyone in Miller Family is searching for him on the island." Daniel said.
"Patrick Miller is missing?"
Alice Clyne stood up in shock, and the hand holding the wine cup trembled
slightly.
Could it be that he fainted because of a headache?
William Cullen suddenly felt empty in his arms, and looked at her in displeasure, "Why are you so nervous? It's not that your groom is missing."
Hearing this, Alice Clyne retracted her emotions and said, "That's my brother - in - law, of course I'm nervous."
"Wait until your man is gone."
He said coldly.
"I'll make a phone call."Alice Clyne said as she left the deck in a hurry, and found
a quiet place to turn her phone on.
As soon as the phone was turned on, foster mothers called her several times.
She immediately called back, and in less than a second, her adoptive mother picked up. Her adoptive mother's voice was so excited that she was almost crying, "where are you? Patrick has disappeared. Now they all say that you were the one who took him away. Didn't you leave on the 23rd yacht? Why didn't you leave on the 23rd? Were you the one who did it?"
Alice Clyne was stunned by her words.
Another bucket of dirty water was poured over.
Patrick had disappeared, how was it possible for him to have some sort of relationship with her?
"I haven't left yet, but I can see that it's quite dark by the seaside." The only thing
Alice Clyne could say was, "How could Patrick's disappearance be related to
me?"
"But everyone is saying..."
"Won't you know where he went after checking the surveillance cameras?" Alice Clyne interrupted her.
"I've already checked. He originally drove himself to the hotel, but he disappeared on the way, and there were no surveillance on the outside of the island." The foster mother was so anxious that her voice became tear-fi I led. "I tell them that you definitely didn't take him away, but no one believes you!"
"I'll help look for him too."
Alice Clyne was in no mood to explain further. She hung up the phone, turned andnoveldrama
walked towards the deck.
William Cullen was standing there, enjoying the taste of the red wine.
"Mr. Cullen, I want to go find Patrick. Can you send someone to help me find
someone?" Alice Clyne pleaded with him.
"Why should I?"
William Cullen did not want to bother with the matters of the Miller Family.
Suddenly, his hand was grabbed.
William Cullen lowered his head, only to see that Alice Clyne had taken the
initiative to hold his hand, and placed her soft fingertips on his palm. He looked at
her, and she looked at him imploringly, "Please."
Her voice was pleading.
It was like putting all her hopes on him.
She needed him badly.
He heard the sound of someone knocking against his chest.
"Shit!" William Patrick muttered as he stared at her. Then, he held onto her slightly
cold hands and roared at his: "Go back!"
"Yes, young master."
Hearing that, Alice Clyne heaved a sigh of relief, and smiled at William Cullen: Thank you.
"Thank you."
William Cullen snorted, and knocked on her head.
Once the boat docked, Danial Frank took out a map and handed it to them, "Young Master, this is the map of the The Isle of the Clouds. Most of the people in the Miller Family are currently searching for him in these areas, but they aren't in
the southern corner."
"This way then."
William Cullen said.
After Alice Clyne heard this, she immediately walked towards the southern corner
alone.
What do you think?
