My eyes fly open, and I rush to the bathroom. I make it just in time to empty the contents of my stomach into the toilet. Fear washes over me as the old hag's words replay in my head. It can't be. I get the children ready and drop them off with one of the older servants that I trust. Vincent meets me out front with the car. It doesn't take us long to arrive at the hospital. smiles and ushers me through a set of double doors.

I will love the child if I am pregnant, but I can't bear the thought of it being David's. I'm not sure how much time passes, but the doctor returns. His expression gives nothing away. I swear waiting for him to speak is like torture. "I'm so sorry

good time to try" he says.
