Chapter 306
Chapter 306:
Bang!
The sharp crack of the gunshot pierced the stillness, sending Dina tumbling to the floor, her leg pouring blood. A chorus of terrified cries erupted from the crowd.
Khloe stared down at Dina, her face expressionless, offering no hint of compassion. “Who sent you?” Her tone was icily detached.
Tears streaking her face, Dina shook her head violently, stubbornly refusing to speak Erma’s name.
Without hesitation, Khloe aimed the gun at Dina’s forehead once more. “If you’re silent, you may as well say goodbye!”
A round-faced girl near Erma suddenly shouted in protest from the crowd. “This is too much! The snake didn’t even harm you, and Dina already apologized. Are you really going to make a scene and shoot her in front of everyone?”
Khloe’s gaze narrowed as she slowly turned to the girl. “So, you’re defending her?” Her voice was sharp, carrying a cold authority that left no room for argument.
The girl trembled under Khloe’s intense gaze, but, feeling safe among the crowd, she found some courage to respond, “You can’t be this unreasonable! Dina’s already hurt, and you’re still not backing off. Be careful, or Mr. Douglas might have you thrown out for causing so much trouble.”noveldrama
Khloe gave a short, cold laugh before stepping forward and yanking the girl out of the crowd.
The girl struggled in panic, but Khloe’s grip was unyielding. “How dare you! This is Mr. Douglas’ birthday party; you can’t just act like this!”
Khloe ignored her protests and grabbed her by the neck, lifting her off the floor. “Quiet!” she snapped coldly.
The girl, small and fragile, was powerless against Khloe, who had spent years honing her strength and combat abilities.

The girl writhed in desperation, but Khloe’s grip was strong, threatening to break her neck with the slightest squeeze.
The girl’s face turned from red to purple as her air supply dwindled.
Moments before the girl lost consciousness, Khloe let go of her and dropped her beside Dina.
The girl coughed uncontrollably, convinced she was moments away from dying.
She no longer dared challenge Khloe and trembled in fear as she whimpered.
Khloe gazed down at them coldly from above. “So, you all think I won’t cause a scene?” Her voice was icy, devoid of warmth. “Well, let me show you just how wrong you are.”
Khloe raised the gun once more, pointing it at them. As fear filled the two girls’ eyes, she spoke slowly. “If one of you reveals who’s behind this, I might spare her. Otherwise, you both will meet your end.”
The crowd fell into stunned silence, none daring to utter a word in the face of Khloe’s overwhelming presence. The round-faced girl, now pale with fear, finally understood the danger she had brought upon herself.
Dina, consumed by terror, wavered. Khloe’s seriousness struck her hard, and if she didn’t reveal Erma, they might actually die.
“I’ll tell! I’ll tell! It was Erma Ruiz who told me to scare you with the snake.”
Dina pointed frantically at Erma among the crowd as she spoke.
Khloe’s gaze, as cold as ice, turned to Erma, a flicker of murderous intent in her eyes.
Erma met Khloe’s icy stare but remained unfazed. With a haughty tilt of her chin, a mocking smile played on her lips.
