Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 263

The cold weather had left Nadine's body frozen after standing outside for so long. She was eager for a warm cup of chamomile tea.

She took a big gulp from the cup and flashed the maid a faint smile. "Thank you."

Looking anxious, the maid quickly waved her hands. "Mrs. Hamilton, I'm just doing my job. You're too kind."

Nadine smiled. Holding the cup with both hands, she watched Brad come down the stairs from the second floor.

He was dressed in a gray sweater, dark trousers, and fluffy home slippers. His long legs moved gracefully as he descended the steps.

His demeanor was elegant, and his appearance was striking. Wearing a faint smile, he looked as though he had stepped out of a painting.

Every step he took treaded on Nadine's heart.

Nadine watched him approach and stop before her.

As he reached her, her smile faded instantly. She looked disgusted instead.

Without even casting him a glance, she walked away and hurried up the stairs.

She was desperate to see Sean. Sean was the person she wanted to see the most.

Her steps quickened, and she almost ran.

Watching her hurry away, Brad snorted indifferently but didn't dwell on it.

She was inside, and he still had Sean. He wasn't worried about her causing trouble.

He instructed the maid to lock the front door and headed to his study.

There, he retrieved the divorce agreement Nadine had signed from the bottom of

a drawer. He then sneered as he tossed it into the shredder.

Nadine wanted a divorce, but he had the say in this matter. If he refused to sign the paper, no one could force him to do so.

After shredding the divorce papers, Brad felt much better. He took his time returning to his chair and pulled out the set of jewelry the bodyguard had returned to him. Snorting, he tossed it aside.

He then dialed Alex's number. "I thought women loved jewelry? Why did Nadine refuse to take the set I gave her and even send it back to me?"

Alex was the one who suggested he buy jewelry and cosmetics for Nadine. He

said that women generally love these things, and such gifts would surely please them.

Brad followed his advice, but it didn't end up well.

Instead of calming Nadine, the gifts only seemed to anger her more.

Alex found the whole situation amusing when he heard about it. "It's not my fault you didn't succeed I always use gifts to cheer up girls when they're upset, and it usually works. I never thought you'd mess it up. I've seen idiots before, but you are the worst! Also, stop calling me. Reflect on your actions before deciding on the gifts. If you've made an unforgivable mistake, not even a gift or your life can fix it. Anyway, don't bother me. I've got a date with my girlfriend. Bye."

Without giving Brad a chance to respond, Alex hung up.

His laughter echoed through the phone as the call was cut off.

Fuming, Brad threw his phone down, leaned back in his chair, and rubbed his temples.

Everyone around him was a headache. He wondered how he ended up making friends like them.

Once Nadine confirmed that Brad had gone to his study, she spent a bit of quality time with Sean before leaving the kid's room.

Just thinking about Sean brought a smile to her face.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, she heard Gigi's shrill voice, "Where's that bitch, Nadine? Get out here!"

Recently, Gigi had been punished by Adam and made to write lines. Not getting enough sleep, she was so exhausted that her dark eye circles became very noticeable. noveldrama

As someone who was always concerned about her appearance, she couldn't

accept it.
