Gigi saw the look Nadine gave her as she turned to leave and was sure Nadine was looking down on her. Gigi had already apologized, yet Nadine still acted superior and condescending.

"Brad, why are you defending Nadine? Are you into her or something?" Gigi's frustration boiled over, especially when she saw Brad protecting Nadine against his mother's objections. The thought that Brad was injured for Nadine set alarm bells ringing in her head. This was not a good sign.

She stared intently at Brad, trying to read his thoughts. With Nadine gone, Brad had no interest in staying to argue with Gigi. He was more concerned with understanding why Nadine had stormed off without even saying "thank you" to

He lazily raised his gaze and looked at Gigi with a half-smile.

"Gigi, don't push it. Nadine is my woman!" Brad said this slowly and deliberately, making sure Evelyn and Gigi heard every word. He then turned his scrutinizing gaze back to Gigi, who was still trying to argue. "Do you think this is over?"

After a brief pause, he added, "No, this is just the beginning!"

Brad was determined not to let Gigi off the hook easily for what she had done to Nadine and Sean. He was resolved to make sure she learned a lesson she would never forget.

Gigi wanted to hurl more insults at Nadine, but Brad's stern expression made her swallow her anger.

With tearful eyes and a pleading look, she said, "Brad, I'm your sister! We share the same blood! How can you side with Nadine? She's the one who kept you and Jean apart for so many years. You should hate her, not help her. Why are you doing this? You must be in love with her!"

In the past, a few tears and complaints about Nadine would have been enough to make Brad stand up for Gigi. Back then, he would have defended her and made Nadine apologize. Yet, in that moment, everything seemed to have changed.

Not only did Nadine refuse to apologize, but Brad also continued to protect her and criticized her apology as insincere.

The phrase "in love" made Brad's heart skip a beat. He wondered how it was possible that he might have feelings for Nadine.

"Gigi, stop spouting nonsense!" Brad snapped. "This whole situation is your fault, and a serious one at that. You need to face time-out and reflect on your actions. Don't let me hear another bad word from you!"

With a fierce glare, Brad turned to head upstairs, following in Nadine's footsteps. After he left, Gigi knocked over a nearby vase in frustration.
