Rebirth 16
"You're really something, Xavier, Lucy said with a sarcastic smile.
Yasmine, who had felt Lucy's irritation and was enjoying the show as Lucy roasted Xavier, couldn't help but chuckle.
Xavier frowned and looked toward Yasmine. "You're feeling sick because my mom kicked you out?"
Now h
he's pretending to care!' Yasmine glanced back at the courthouse door, sarcasm flashing in her eyes.
With a calm expression, she shot him a look. "Yeah, exactly. So, Mr. Flynn, if you really care, please finish the paperwork quickly to avoid any misunderstandings." Without giving him another chance to respond, she grabbed Lucy and walked away.
As soon as she was gone, Xavier called Yvette to find out what happened yesterday.
Yvette sounded a little resigned. "I was hoping to let Ms. Sanchez stay, but it seems Selena and she didn't get along, so we ended up asking her to leave." Somehow, Xavier felt a knot in his stomach and interrupted, "Yvette, I've given that house to her."
Meanwhile, Yasmine opened her phone to find Chuck's messages blowing up her screen.
[Yasmine, we can consider 1,000 dollars.]

[Hello?]
[Where are you?]
[Money really isn't an issue!]
Yasmine fell into silence.
At the Russell residence, Chuck stared at his phone helplessly. "Yonas, why did Ms. Sanchez ignore me? I've dropped the price to 800 dollars! Is that still too high?" Yonas tended to some roses calmly. "Why are you so anxious?"
Chuck scooted closer, eyed him suspiciously, and rested his chin on his hand as he asked, "What's your deal, Yonas? It's your house, and you can just give it to Ms. Sanchez-no need to pretend it's my place. Well, if you like her, just admit it." Yonas shot him a look, trimming some excess leaves as he replied. "You wouldn't understand."
Chuck couldn't help but mutter, "I don't get it, but Ms. Sanchez is married. Didn't expect you to be into that-so you like married women, huh?"
Before he could finish, he stumbled a bit, almost tripping over himself. With frustrated eyes, he looked up, only to see Yonas wiping his hands clean as he walked past with a lazy remark. "Talk less."
Chuck regained his balance, still a bit rattled when Yasmine's message came through. [Mr. Zimmerman, I appreciate your offer. Let's go by the market rate. We can check out the house when you're free.]
BGB. Chapter 16
Chuck looked at Yonas, uncertainty in his expression as he held his phone out for Yonas to see. "Ms. Sanchez wants to go by market price." For once. Yonas smiled slightly. "Then let's do it her way."
Later that night, in a dimly lit bar, Xavier sat surrounded by a group of friends. He wasn't in the mood to chat; he just sipped his drink silently. The guys didn't dare to bother him. They just whispered among themselves.
"Did Xavier really go to get the divorce certificate? Does that mean a wedding with Yvette is coming soon?"
"Yeah, and I heard Mr. Grant is also in town."
"Honestly, Yvette and Xavier are a good match. Yasmine isn't worth much-she's got a low education, a rough background, and she's an orphan. Zsk "That's too much. Remember when Xavier was down? Yasmine helped him a lot. Didn't she bring in a bunch of projects?"
"What did you just say?" Xavier snapped his head up.
