Chapter 660
Chapter 660:
He squinted, a smirk creeping onto his face. “The more you dodge, the more I like it.”
And with that, he didn’t bother hiding his threats anymore.
“I’ll give you one minute to decide. You and your boyfriend stay, or you don’t.” He smiled darkly, as if the power rested in his hands.
Allison’s eyes widened in fear as she listened.
After a tense pause, she hesitated before saying, “Okay… but… could you turn off the lights?”
Rowan, catching the hint, quickly moved to turn off the lights.
“Of course, no one will see us here,” he said, eager to have her in his grasp.
With the lights out, he reached for her, but Allison wasn’t the trembling, helpless woman she had appeared to be just moments ago. In the darkness, she transformed into something cold and calculating, like a predator waiting to pounce. Swiftly, like a cat in the shadows, she moved behind him.
Rowan, fumbling blindly in the dark, reached out to grab her but found only empty space. His pulse quickened, a twisted excitement building.
“Sweetheart, let me find you,” he called out, his voice filled with hunger.
Allison had already moved, unseen by him. She had special contact lenses that allowed her to see clearly, even in the pitch-black darkness.
As Rowan continued to stumble around in confusion, Allison’s foot connected with his body, sending him crashing against the wall with a sickening thud.noveldrama
Before he could even react, she twisted his arm behind his back with a sickening snap, securing it in place, then produced special tape to collect his fingerprints.
“Let go! Let go!” Rowan screamed in agony, his voice a high-pitched wail as his wrist was twisted to the breaking point. His cries echoed through the cramped storage room, loud and desperate.
Allison chuckled, her tone casual, almost playful. “What’s the matter, Mr. Gilbert? Isn’t this exactly what you wanted?”
Once she had gathered the evidence she needed, she began hurling her cleaning tools at him, each one landing with a thud. The room was filled with louder screams, each one more pitiful than the last.
The noise soon drew footsteps from outside.
Allison timed it perfectly, and just as the door to the storage room swung open with a loud bang, the bright light from the hallway flooded in, illuminating Rowan’s disheveled, humiliated state for everyone to see.
Allison’s eyes welled up with tears as she bolted from the door, her body trembling as she hid behind the crowd, sobbing dramatically.
“Mr. Gilbert, he… he tried to assault me. But I already have a boyfriend,” she whimpered, her voice faltering.
She glanced sideways, her gaze landing on the man at the front of the group — Jareth, the quiet colleague she had seen making coffee earlier in the break room.
The crowd around her began to shake their heads, as if they had already drawn their own conclusions. The dark supply room, the disheveled male coworker, and the tearful, beautiful cleaner — anyone witnessing this scene would assume that Allison was the victim of a crime.
