Maria was fully absorbed in listening to her romance audiobook while jogging, unaware that a young girl was following her.

With so many people around the neighborhood, someone walking behind her seemed perfectly normal.

After Tina followed Maria for a while, she was surprised to realize that Maria was listening to a dramatic romance audiobook.

“She’s actually a kindred spirit?” Tina pinched the frame of her glasses in surprise. “Could she be a fan of mine too?”

Tina was not bragging, but she was convinced that of all readers who enjoyed romance novels or dramas, at least half were her fans.

She quickly pulled out her own phone, started playing “Beauty and the Boss“, and turned the volume up high on purpose. “The elevator doors had just opened when Victor Dean heard someone scream his name.”

But Maria was different.

As a seasoned fan of CEO romance novels, the moment Maria heard the name ‘Victor‘ coming from Tina’s phone, her ears perked up. She halted in her tracks, turning her head to locate the source of the sound.

“Victor?” Maria thought. “That’s my favorite CEO!”

She was excited to learn that it was indeed the “Beauty and the Boss“!

Even though Maria had read the novel five or six times, she could not help but get thrilled every time she saw someone fangirling over Victor.

It felt like she was meeting a long–lost sister.

Turning off her own audiobook, Maria slowed down and waited for the girl to catch up. “Hi, gorgeous! You’re a Victor fan too, aren’t you?” Maria asked.

Tina perked up immediately. ‘So this girl is indeed a fan of mine! she thought. ‘I’m so lucky!‘

Tina instantly looked up, her eyes sparkling, and nodded eagerly. “Yes, yes, yes! I’m Victor’s biggest fan! I love him like my

own son!

“Ohhh!” Maria shouted in excitement. “I adore him too! He’s not like the usual arrogant CEO type. He’s got strong principles, sexy, powerful, and never lets you down. He’s just flawless!”

“Right? You think so too, don’t you?” Tina got more excited. “Beauty and the Boss is going to be adapted for TV. Do you have any actor in mind who could play him?”
