Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 46

Happy reading….

“So you know Jayden isn’t the real son of the Xavier Family?”

“What?” Elena rolled her eyes in surprise.

“From your expression I can tell you don’t know about this,” Hera said exactly what Haidar said when he told her too.

In the end Elena returned to her seat. How could it be that he didn’t know such a big thing but Hera knew it?

“See? Jayden even kept this secret from you but not from me. He told me, Elena. I wasn’t interested myself.” Hera paused just to see how Elena’s expression was. She seemed to have succeeded in making her angry and upset. “I don’t think he trusts you that much.”

Not long after, the cell phone in Elena’s bag vibrated showing Jayden’s name.

“Pick up!” said Hera, sipping her drink.

“Hello, honey. What are you doing?” Jayden spoke first.

“I’m outside.”

“Buying groceries?”

“No. I met an old friend,” replied Elena with a look that couldn’t be separated from Hera.

“Who?”

“You don’t know her.” Bullshit! Even though she was with the man’s wife. “By the way, what’s wrong, Jay?”

“Could you come to my company? I need your opinion, honey.”

Elena didn’t answer right away. Considering whether she should stay or go see Jayden? But Elena couldn’t deny, she was curious about what Hera would say to her.

“Sorry, Jay. But I can’t,” said Elena, making Hera smile even though she couldn’t see it.

“Why?”

“I still have to be here with my friend. We have something important to talk about. I’m sorry, Jay. I’m hanging up the phone. See you later!”

Elena immediately closed the connection quickly.

“Friends? I didn’t expect you to think of me as a friend,” Hera chuckled because Elena called her an old friend.

“No need for too much pleasantries, Hera. Tell me what to do!” Elena said sounding so impatient.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Hera raised an eyebrow. “So you agree?”

“I agreed because I don’t want Jayden to leave me. I will do anything to keep Jayden by my side,” Elena said emphatically but her eyes flashed with despair.

How could Elena be so attached to Jayden?

Hera felt that this was not solely because of love. But there is something else that is more important.

“Okay. Once you do this, then Jayden will forever be yours,” said Hera. This step is the best for them. Hera would be separated from Jayden and Elena could have the man completely.

“Go to my parents and tell them if you have a relationship with Jayden,” Hera said again after a moment of silence.

“Are you crazy? I can’t do it. It would be tantamount to suicide, Hera,” said Elena, rejecting Hera’s idea flatly.

“Then you want Jayden to stay with me? I told you, Elena. Jayden doesn’t want to divorce me,” said Hera.

Elena snorted in annoyance. She had always dismissed that thought but recently she had doubts about Jayden. It was as if the man really didn’t want to let Hera go.

“Think about it, Elena. This is the best we can do,” Hera persuaded Elena.

The woman closed her eyes and bit her lip lightly. ‘I Hope this decision I take is correct.’

“Okay I’ll do it,” replied Elena making Hera smile with satisfaction. Finally they got an agreement to work together.

“But, why are you doing this, Hera?” For some reason Elena was curious. “Didn’t you ever cleanly want to keep your marriage? You even told me to just give up,” he said.

If you remember that day, Hera’s chest felt so tight. Where she desperately wants to keep her marriage to Jayden because she doesn’t want Juan to grow up in an incomplete family. Maybe it was just an excuse, because the main reason Hera didn’t want a divorce was because she loved Jayden. Even though she never thought about it.

“Because I don’t want Juan to have a father like Jayden,” Hera replied without looking at Elena.

But gradually the love turned to hate because Jayden continued to disappoint Hera. Even mercilessly deceived the woman outright. And the most fatal when Jayden slandered herself for having an affair with Haidar.

It’s enough. Hera couldn’t put up with a cunning guy like Jayden anymore.

“After all, why keep someone whose love already belongs to someone else?” asked Hera chuckling sadly and this time she looked at Elena. “Surviving and fighting alone is very painful, Elena.”

Hera rose from her seat. She brushed away the tears that had been falling from her eyes for some time and rolled down her cheeks.

“You love Jayden?” asked Elena.

Hera turned around. “Yes,” she answered simply. “But that was before he showed me who he really was. I just hope that you don’t regret giving up all your love for him, Elena,” Hera said again.

“By the way….” Hera turned around. “Call your friends and spend some time together. After that, you can carry out our plan.”

After saying that Hera actually left from there leaving Elena.

In accordance with what Hera ordered, Elena called her friend to accompany her. Apparently the woman knew that Jayden would send someone to follow her.

After everything is safe. Only then did Elena carry out the plan that Hera had arranged. Meet Hera’s parents.

“What do you want?”

Elena had guessed that it was impossible for Hera’s parents to warmly welcome her.

“I want to tell you the truth about your son-in-law, Mr. Andrew,” said Elena.

But unexpectedly, Anne actually brought Elena into their house even though her husband had strongly opposed it.

“Say what you want to say.”

It sounded a little urgent but Elena actually liked it. Because that’s what he wanted.

“Before I say I want you to see and hear this first,” said Elena placing her phone on the living room table.

The cell phone contains voice recordings as well as some intimate photos of Elena and Jayden.

“What th-means this?” Andrew stuttered.

“I’m Jayden’s girlfriend. Before your daughter took it from me. And we are still in touch to this day,” explained Elena.

“This is impossible. Mr. Elvis and Mrs. Jane said that Jayden didn’t have a girlfriend at the time,” said Andrew, still not wanting to believe it.

“Yes. Because we did agree to hide it so that the matchmaking still happens,” said Elena. “You must think that Jayden really loves your daughter. But you are wrong because Jayden only loves me.”

“Does Hera know this?” Anne finally spoke up.

“Of course she knows. What do you think was the reason Hera filed for divorce from Jayden?” Elena leaned her body against nature. “It’s really sad that you trust your son-in-law more than your own son,” the woman said sadly.

“Stop it!” shouted Andrew disapprovingly. “Now you get out of here. Before I drag you down!” he said warning Elena.

“No need.” Elena rose from her seat. “I can go alone,” she said looking at Anne who was still sitting, she seemed very surprised and then turned to Andrew who was looking at her sharply.

“I am go!” Elena said with a crooked smile then left from there.

“Now Jayden will be all mine.”
