Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1327

After a week away, nobody wanted to leave. Goodbyes dragged on from noon well into the evening, and even then, they couldn't resist sharing one last dinner together. The four ladies, who'd gone from acquaintances to genuine friends, made enthusiastic plans for another trip-though none of them seemed quite ready to part ways.

Mia piped up, "Mom, it takes twenty minutes to drive from our place to my in-laws', half an hour to the Byrnes', and four hours to the Calders'. Do you really think you'll ever all get together again in this lifetime?"

Madison shot her a look. "Mia, give it a rest."

Eventually, everyone made their way to the airport.

Molly, with her son in her arms, boarded the Calder family's private jet along with her husband.

Leo raised an eyebrow at her. "What are you doing here?"

She huffed, "Oh, please. You're the one who had to start babbling about there being five suns in the sky. I actually believed you and pointed out each one. My dad was so annoyed, he basically disowned me and banished me onto this flight."

Leo sighed, "Why can't you use your head like your sisters?"

Molly shot back, "Excuse me? My sisters nearly did the same! Their husbands just happened to cover their mouths in time. Chad, you could've helped me out, you know."

Officer Chad, her husband, looked sheepish. "I didn't think you'd jump in so fast.” Mia wandered over, and both cousins chimed in, "How'd you end up on this jet?" Mia shook her head, looking a little deflated. "I wasn't kicked off. I just wanted to fly with you guys, but Andre wouldn't let me. I was stuck on the other plane all by myself totally bored."

Leo asked, "So why are you here now?"

"Oh, since you two got exiled by Grandpa, I thought I'd drag Anya over to hang out with me," Mia said, just as someone shoved her shoulder.

"Move along!" Leo grumbled, nudging Mia away from their plane. "Go amuse yourself somewhere else. Leave my kid alone. Off you go."

Mia staggered, glaring back. "Leo! Is that any way to treat your elders?"noveldrama

Spotting her uncle chatting with a flight attendant, Leo shouted, "Uncle, keep an eye on your wife! She's plotting to sneak onto our plane!"

Andre strode over and took Mia by the hand. "Come on, honey, I know what you're up to. You just want to drag Anya with you."

Leo chimed in, "She literally just said she's bored and wants to fly with us. If you don't let her, she'll sneak over anyway."

Mia gasped, pretending to be scandalized. "Wow, Leo, I can't believe you! Babe, you trust me, right? He's making it up. I just wanted to bring Anya with me."

No matter how much Mia objected, Andre just held onto her hand, refusing to let go.

So at the airport, whether he was chatting with the pilot, inspecting the jet, or even heading down to the cargo hold, Andre kept a firm hold on his mischievous wife, not letting her run off.

When they were finally settled and the cabin doors were shut, Mia's dream of a travel buddy was officially dashed. She pouted, snuggling up to Andre. "Honey, I just wanted Anya to keep me company."

Andre saw right through her and replied, "Go ahead, hit Leo if you want. I won't fine you."

"But why didn't you believe me earlier?” she whined.

"I do trust you. I just can't let Anya come over."

Mia blinked. "Why not?"

That night, Mia finally figured it out-there just weren't enough beds!

Henry had been whisked away by his uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Byrne had moved over to the Calders' jet too, worried Molly might have trouble wrangling the kids, and Coleen could keep Mrs. Calder company. Madison and Naomi paired off too. This way, everyone had someone to chat with, and-most importantly-plenty of space to stretch out and sleep in peace.
