Sigrid tell that George was much better than the lecher Edward. At least he was a decent man. He would not always be thinking about how to take advantage of her as Edward had. Every time George misunderstood her intentions, he would usually say something flirtatious to her. So, as long as he didn’t misinterpret her words, he was a decent guy!
At this moment, Sigrid did not know that her evation of George today would be reversed by her in the near future.
When the car arrived at the door of the Vincent family home, the two of them got out and rang the doorbell
Sigrid reached out and took George’s and, waiting for the servant to open the door.
Unexpectedly, it was Rebecca who opened the door.
When she and Rebecca saw each other, sigrid was surprised at first, and then she remembered the conversation she’d had with Rebecca that morning so she was no longer nervous and embarrassed as before. She raised her chin slightly as if she would not admit defeat.
Rebecca took two steps back and said, “Come in, dinner will be ready soon.”
Sigrid bent down while taking off her shoes and her eyes fell on Rebecca’s hand, which was still holding the door handle. Seeing her gripping the doorknob tightly as if she was going to tear it off, she knew that Rebecca’s heart was not as calm as it appeared on the surface.
After they changed their shoes and went in, Franklin Vincent quickly smiled daringly and said to George, “Ah, Mr. Toland, please come Let’s talk in the study, Sigrid and Rebecca, you can catch up now.”
George glanced at Rebecca. He didn’t believe that she would bully Sigrid now, so he went to the study with Franklin.
Rebecca smiled and took Sigrid to her room. “Sigrid, you left in a hurry last time, so you didn’t take any of your things with you. Take a look at what you need. I’ve prepared several suitcases for you. Let’s sort it out before the meal”
When Sigrid saw that the suitcases wire those used by Rebecca before, she suddenly felt that they were just hand–me–downs. She knew that Rebecca wanted to remind her that the things she got now were Rebecca’s throw offs.
Sigrid touched the ring on her hand and was still pur off that George had spent so much money to order a replacement ring. Now that it had been made, why hadn’t it been delivered? She didn’t think much of the bargain‘ replacement that cost eight million! Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
Sigrid pretended that she was not angry at all. She went into the room, put the laptop into the suitcase, and selected a few of her Cavorite clothes. All in all, she couldn’t fill a
“Is that all? Aren’t you taking the rest of these things with you? I’m going to be your room into a cloakroom, Rebecca said.
Signd slightly lifted the corners of her mouth: “That’s di FB just let my husband buy me whatever else I need. You can just throw away the rest.”
“It was definitely not self–interest. It must be that Sigrid is showing off Rebecca thought to hersel
“What’s so great about that? When George gets tired of you, let’s see how it ends up for you
“By the way, Sigrid, go get the marriage license with George. Although you guys had a wedding, you are not a legally married couple now. If George finds someone he likes, he doesn’t need to sign the divorce document when he wants to divorce. And he doesn’t need to compensate you anything. If that really happens, I really feel sorry for you.” Rebecca tegned concern for her. “If he refuses to get the marriage lose, don’t worry. With a bit of coaxing, you’ll get him to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau with you.”
