The Bad Boy Next Room (Charlie and Taylor)

At 1:00 AM, Charlie meditated.

At 2:00 AM, Charlie tossed and turned in bed.

At 3:00 AM, Charlie jerked up. She let out a silent scream, 'Aaaaaaaaahhhhh! Fuck you, Taylor!'

Charlie felt hopeless. She could not sleep! What was she ever going to do?

She had already decided to be a good girl and never get involved with a boy until she turned twenty-five. She was now contented that she and Luke had broken up, so she did not have to live with the guilt of lying to her parents!

But what was this? There was a brewing temptation in the next room, which was very inviting.

Her 'Guardian Angel' was not helping at all. Her 'Inner Devil,' on the other hand, seemed biased!

Thus, Charlie did what she thought was best. At around 3:30 AM, she called her big sister.

"Charlie?" Freya answered on the other line. "Why are you calling me so late?"

"Sis, I'm in trouble," Charlie revealed. She hugged her knees in the bed while holding her phone up.noveldrama

"What sort of trouble? Is it Luke? Tell me, and I'll take care of him, once and for all," Freya suggested.

"No, it isn't Luke." Charlie sighed and admitted, "I think I got into bigger trouble."

"Tell me. Big sis will listen," Freya offered.

"It's about my roommate," Charlie said.

"Tanya Dawson, right?" Freya asked.

"Well, that's the thing. I thought I would be roommates with Tanya Dawson, but I ended up being roommates with her cousin," Charlie said. "Freya, I am living with a guy."

"Oh, my god!" Freya reacted. "Is he hurting you?"

"No, he isn't." Charlie said, "He is making me feel strange."

"How strange?" Freya asked.

"Nervous, excited, happy, and angry at times," she shared.

Charlie began to tell her about Taylor - everything, from his good looks to surprisingly good witts and character. She revealed how they were pretending to be a couple, resulting in them kissing.

"Is he that good-looking for you to get so affected already? You just broke up with Luke. Shouldn't you still be sulking about him?" Freya asked.

"I guess you could say he's like the genetically superior love child of a K-Drama actor and that hot werewolf in the Twilight Saga. He is mysterious, beautiful, and probably capable of making you question your entire existence with just one smirk," Charlie described. "His jawline? A weapon of mass destruction. His eyes? Charlie covered her mouth, shocked by what she had said. "Oh, my god. I am screwed. I did not realize I was this attracted to him."

"Really? He is that hot?" Freya said. "Show me a picture!"

Charlie stilled. She made a face and revealed, "I don't have a picture of him."

"Whaaat?" Freya reacted. "How can you not have a picture of your fake boyfriend? And you said he was handsome. Why did you never steal a picture?"

"I - I was seriously trying not to get involved with a guy! At first, I did not like him... until I got to know him." Charlie pouted. Then, she suddenly remembered how Taylor still probably had his door open. "But... I think I could... take a picture of him."

"You could?" Freya asked.

"Yeah. He was seducing me earlier, saying he'd leave his door open for me," Charlie revealed.

"What? Haha! How confident is he?" Freya remarked. Her sister wavered but soon said, "Get a picture. Get a good one."

Charlie bit her lip. Her eyes wandered to the door for a second before she agreed, "Okay."

Slowly but surely, Charlie made it to Taylor's room. She was pretty impressed! For a guy, his room was squeaky clean!

Taylor only had his bedside lamp on, but the light was enough to take a good picture of him. The only problem was he was sleeping face down. Charlie only got an image of his face and his sexy back.

Yes, Taylor appeared to be sleeping half-naked.

After taking two pictures, Charlie rushed out, but as soon as she reached her door, Freya said, "It's not so clear. Go back and turn on the lights!"

"What?" Charlie reacted. As she spoke, she tried to keep her voice down. "Are you crazy? I don't want to wake him up."

"He is sleeping like a log! Men are not light sleepers! I tell you! Remember our brothers? An earthquake would happen, and they'd still doze off!" Freya insisted.
