Chapter 40: Part Two Queen Of Hell
Chapter 40: Part Two Queen Of Hell
Jaza was no fool. Whatever Perdition was planning, he was prepared. He was on guard. He had sent
word to every watcher hiding on earth to be ready.
Perdition had contacted Labith and told her to bring Jaza to the inn tonight. Perdition was ready to give
up Camilla Dawn in exchange Jaza would leave Sam alone and not interfere with the babies. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
Labith knew there was no way Perdition would just quietly hand over Camilla Dawn. She knew she
was up to something. Labith had raised the once sweet girl. She knew her better than anyone.
“What do you think she is up to?” Jaza asked Labith.
Labith walked into Jaza’s chamber. It is such a dark and menacing place. Labith did not like being in
closed spaces with him.
“I honestly cannot say Jaza,” Labith answered him.
“She is unique, isn’t she?” Jaza says as he moves closer to Labith. “Are you afraid, Labith?”
“Of you?” Labith asks. “No! I am not!” Labith moves in closer to Jaza. She did not like being here, but
she was not afraid of him. Jaza was not as powerful as her.
“I will be ready to go when the sun goes down,” Jaza says.
“I think we should go before she is expecting us. You know just in case.” Labith suggest.
Jaza nods in agreement. “Don’t forget whose side you are on, Labith,” Jaza says.
“I am on my side,” Labith replies. She turns to leave the chamber as Jaza rushes for her. Labith opens
her palm and restrains him with her mighty light. “Do not try me, Jaza. I am helping you, but I can do
this with or without you.”
Labith leaves Jaza’s chamber. She has no intention of bowing down to him or anyone beneath her. He
may be the watcher commander, but she is the first and foremost of all the watchers. She is the
beginning, and she fully plans on being the ending.
Labith rushes out of the watcher’s chambers and back to her side of the underworld. She has plans to
make. She knows a lot is about to happen and she wants to be prepared for whatever comes.
Labith arrives at her chamber and notices the door is open. “Who would be in my room?” she
wondered.
She pushed open the door to see a man resembling Lucifer standing in front of her with a beautiful
redhead.
“Can I help you?” Labith asks.
The man walks to her and takes her hand. “Yes. Yes. I believe you can and I believe you will,” the man
answers her.
“You are not Lucifer. Why are you here?” Labith asks.
“Do you not recognize me, my old friend? Do you not recognize us?” The man asks.
“I am not sure. The man you appear to be is not in the underworld. He is long gone.” Labith answers.
“I am not gone. I was only taking a moment to think,” the man says. “As you can see, I am here and so
is my lovely wife.”
Labith knew who he was. She was in shock. How could this be? He left a long time ago. He left to be
with his wife and be free from his obligations to the underworld. He had left to give Lucifer the right to
rule the underworld.
“Why are you here?” Labith asks. She was not taking her eyes off the man or his wife.
“I am here because my brother needs to help his children. You know he cannot leave the underworld
without a replacement,” the man says. “Take me to my brother, Labith. Take me now. I need to see
him.”
“Follow me, Izrael.” She says as she turns to go back into the hallway.
“First, I need to make a stop. Take me to Jaza first.” Izrael says. “We have a bone to pick with him.”
Izrael’s wife took out a sword. “I have a gift for his heart.” She smiles at Labith. “I can either stick this in
you or you can take me to him. Either way, somebody is going to die.”
Labith did not hesitate. She took the two straight to Jaza. She opened the door to his chamber and
watched as they butchered the mighty watcher.
