Chapter 2610
The owner snapped, "Are you mocking me?!"
The customer frowned. "You told me to pay you for the chili!"
"Screw you!"
Really losing it just then, the owner threw a jab at the customer.
However, the customer dodged it and launched a kick in retaliation, flooring him!
"How dare you... you hit me!" the owner bellowed furiously.noveldrama
The customer smirked. "Everyone could see you attacked me first. "This is justified self-defense! Remember—there are rules in running in a business, and not getting upset over some spoonfuls of chili is one of them. So be careful, since your business might fall apart!"
"You're mocking me... You've really done it now!"
As the owner scrambled to his feet, he dashed into the kitchen and returned with a cleaver!
But as it turned out, the customer was a martial artist.
Sidestepping the cleaver, he punched the owner on the face, leaving him immobile with a black eye!
"Just so you know, I had the right to kill you when you tried to stab me!"
And with that, the customer spat at the owner and turned to leave.
Furious, the owner punched the floorboard before wheeling on Frank's group. "What are you looking at?! Just remember to testify for me and say that he struck me first! Lie, and I'll make your lives difficult!"
Zark was at once annoyed. "Make our lives difficult? How despicable can you be, snapping at others just because they look weak? I'll give it to you straight-we're not to be trifled with!"
With a wave of his, Zark then destroyed every piece of furniture in the room!
The owner was flabbergasted.
While the other customer could have honed himself physically to gain such horrific strength, Zark's might was incomprehensible.
How was he different from a god?!
Pushing himself up in silence, the owner said nothing else as he stormed out of the diner.
Zark then spread his hands. "Let's keep eating. Just ignore him!"
Frank smiled but said nothing.
Just as they were about to finish their food, the customer returned with two other men, who were both martial artists too.
"Excuse me, but where did the owner go?" the customer then asked Frank's group politely, seeing that the owner was not around.
Zark pointed outside. "All we know is that he left. What's up? Are you going to wreck this place? Heck, don't worry we already did!"
The customer smiled. "Thank you so much, but truth be told, we weren't going to do that! There's no reason to stoop to the owner's level... it's just that I really regret paying him extra.
"With how good the standard of living is these days. I'm willing to lose hundreds of dollars, let alone twenty bucks. But my cause is just, so why should I suck up to someone like him and make myself miserable?"
Zark nodded in understanding. "So you want justice! Well, I have your back. Take
a seat—I'm sure the owner will soon be back!
"That said, I must warn you that he must have left for a reason, most likely to get help. Don't strain yourself now!"
The customer laughed, shaking his head. "Don't worry we can hold our own in a fight, and thirtyish people won't be an issue. That man doesn't stand a chance!"
What do you think?
