The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 459

Ansel picked up the cup and took a sip. He savored the flavor before setting it down.

"If we're going to talk about your mentor, we have to bring up his women. When it comes to them, we can't skip over the first one.

"I recall that she was a widow. On a dark, windy night, he climbed over the wall and saw a woman in the bath. When he lunged at her, she tried to yell, but he covered her mouth to silence her.

"As she struggled, he forced himself on her. After the intimate encounter, he conquered her, and they ended up as a couple after that."

With that, Ansel chuckled and raised his cup again, taking another sip of his drink.

Then, he asked, "Do you have anything else you're curious about? Feel free to ask. He has many women, and I know all of them. I'm here to spill the beans, but you can't let him know that I told you anything. Matthew looked at Ansel in a daze, noticing how the wrinkles on his old face deepened into lines when he smiled.

Matthew felt speechless. "Are you saying that my mentor sexually assaulted a widow? He wouldn't stoop that low, right?"

Ansel cleared his throat and earnestly said, "That's beside the point. I just want to emphasize how cool he was. Even though he forced himself on the widow, she ended up falling head over heels for him."

Matthew remarked in exasperation, "So when my mentor pursued the widow, were you following him? How else would you know all the details?"

Ansel twitched his mouth, but he didn't say anything. He grabbed the cup and chugged down all his coffee. After recomposing himself, he grumbled, "I didn't follow along, but I bet my story is pretty close. I think that's how it went."

Matthew was at a loss for words. "I wanted to know more about my mentor, and you made up stories about his romantic history. If you're just going to say things like that, I might as well just read a novel."

ret

Ansel responded with a smile, "It's not entirely made up. He met the widow just once, and she was already head over heels for him. If he didn't sweep her off her feet it wouldn't add up. The truth should be pretty close to my speculation."

Matthew was dumbfounded. Ansel was just spinning stories. "Can you keep it real? I'm looking for the truth, not a fairy tale."

Ansel chuckled. "It's not completely fabricated. The widow actually exists. She's gorgeous, and her name is Jessica Swanson.

"What matters is that she's gotnoveldrama

money, a killer figure, and looks to match. Any guy who lays eyes on her is hooked. Your mentor just sealed the deal in one shot and is now riding her coattails-"

Matthew sprang to his feet. He had finally reached his limit and couldn't keep listening.

His mentor was a wearer of Juprus Ring and was a figure who even Brad held a high regard. How could he be living off a widow?

"If you don't want to tell me about my mentor, just say that outright instead of beating around the bush."

With that, Matthew started making his way to do. After taking a few steps, he remembered he had brought Renae with him.

He stopped in his tracks and turned to tell Renae, "If you're worried about being safe at home, feel free to stay here for a while."

With a cheerful smile, Renae replied, "I don't know anyone here, and I'm scared. Can I go with you?" Matthew frowned. "If you don't like it here, I can find you another place."

As Matthew spoke, he led Renae out of the room.

When Matthew reached the door, he

stopped once more and faced Ansel, saying, "Among the Eight Medical Sects, I have tracked down Medieval Sect, Frostbloom Sect, Guglen Sect, and Afflictan Sect. Which sect should I go for next?"
