Chapter 26 My husband is a beast
Tihana threw her head backwards as she laughed hard. Jackson was cracking her ribs with jokes.
“So, what happened after that?” She asked trying to control her laughter.
“What else? He just stood up and silently walked out of their midst.” Jackson chuckled.
Jackson was the guy from the gym and since then, they’ve been hanging out. He has been a great help in easing her boredom.
“That was hilarious.” Tihana said breathing hard from too much laughter. Jackson just smiled.
“It’s getting late so I would be on my way.” Tihana stood up in a smile and Jackson also did same.
“Okay but before you go, can you give me your number?”
“No, she can’t.” Someone said behind Tihana, startling her.
Tihana turned to see who and when she saw Aiden, she scoffed.
What does he mean by that by the way?
“She can’t give you her number because she is a married woman.” Aiden said again and came to stand beside Tihana.
“She’s married?” Jackson asked not knowing who he was exactly referring the question to.
“Yes, she is married to me so try somewhere else and if you still also need your job.” Aiden said arrogantly.
Jackson left them with a pained heart. Just when he thought he could find a lady to call his own, she turned out to be taken already.
Tihana was just what the type of lady he needed to be his girlfriend but now she was married, there was nothing he could do.
Besides her husband looks pretty rich, he didn’t want any problem with the rich so it was better he backed off quick.
“What was that all about?” Tihana faced Aiden who had a smirk plastered on his face.
He stared at Tihana who looked angry and he smirked the more.
The feeling he gets seeing her like this was something he loves so much.
“Don’t you think it’s time you stop hanging out with ass broken guys? In case you don’t remember, you’re married.” Aiden grabbed her ring finger and shoved it to her face.
“And you should also remember that it is all fake.” Tihana spatted out.
“Fake or not, you have my ring on your finger.” Aiden shrugged, making her scoff.
“Why are you being like this? I didn’t force you to get married to me, the last time I remembered, you were the one who forced me to sign the damn contract and get married to you.” Tihana said almost in a shout, not minding he was her boss at that moment.
She couldn’t hold herself even if she tried and Aiden on the other hand, was making matters worst.
Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes as the pains came flashing back again.
Aiden looked around him to see if anyone was looking at them. Everyone was busy minding their business.
He thanked God for a moment that it wasn’t in America where he was very popular.
Though, he was also known here in Canada but not like in America.
He turned to the lady in front of him with a smirk and laughed within himself when he saw the tears on her eyelids.
She looked like she would burst out any moment from now.
Not wanting to create a scene with the headline ‘Aiden Turner’s wife spotted crying in a hotel’, he stopped smirking.
“Go and get ready, we’re going for a business meeting.” Aiden said lowly leaving Tihana in dismay.

Tihana stared out of the window, looking at the bubbling lights lost in thoughts.
They were done with the meeting and was now heading back to the hotel or so she thought.
Aiden parked the car and alighted.
Tihana noticed the car stopped moving and also stepped down.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
She looked around and it didn’t look like the hotel they lounged into or did he decide to change location? But, they weren’t with their bags?
All these questions crossed through Tihana’s mind and she got her answers when they got into the building.
“Wait for me over there, I’ll be back soon.” Aiden said and dissembled in the crowd.
What were they doing in a club?
She wearily went to sit over where Aiden pointed to.
“What do I get you ma’am?” The bartender asked. Tihana wanted to refuse but she changed her mind.
“Get me a bottle of any strong alcohol you have.”
“Alright.” The bartender placed her order on the table in front of her and turned back to what he was doing.
She poured the alcohol into the small glass cup beside the bottle and imbibed all at once.
She poured in another glass and gulped it down. She repeated this till she began to feel tipsy.
The feeling she was getting from taking the alcohol was something she couldn’t describe but she was loving it.
She wants to drink to forget all of her pain, sorrow and worry
She laughed hysterically as she took in yet another cup of alcohol.
The laughter wasn’t heard or noticed by people because of the loud music.
“Hey beautiful!” A guy sat opposite her in a smile.
“Hi handsome!” She replied back in a smile that revealed almost all her teeth, making the guy chuckle.
His eyes roamed round her body and liking what he saw, he slowly licked his lips.
He stared lustfully at her cleavages. She was wearing a v neck which slightly showed her cleavages.
His eyes were filled with desires.
He understands she was drunk and it made work easier for him.
“Care to have a dance with me?” Tihana nodded endlessly still in a smile.
The guy took her hand about to take her to the dance floor when someone pulled her back.
“She is not dancing with you.” Aiden said and dragged her completely away from him.
“Says who? Cause I don’t see anyone that can stop me here.” The guy asked daringly as he stared around mockingly and Aiden scoffed.
Aiden looked at the lady he was holding and with how childish she was acting, he knew instantly she was drunk.
He turned back to the guy in front of him with gritted teeth.
He wasn’t angry at the guy but at his drunk wife.
“She is my wife and I say so.” Aiden hoped to have gotten rid of him but then the guy started smirking.
Tihana wouldn’t stop giggling in Aiden’s arms and it was beginning to irritate him.
“How do I believe you?” The guy asked still smirking.
Aiden took Tihana’s left hand and showed him the ring finger.
“Here is the damn proof you want, now screw off.”
The guy left but after giving Aiden the fuck you sign.
Aiden saw her purse laying carelessly on the table and he grabbed it.
“Sir, she hasn’t paid for the alcohol she took.” The bartender said after seeing they were about leaving.
Aiden stared at the alcohol he was referring to and scoffed.
“How the heck would you give a lady a alcohol as strong as this?”
“She asked for it and we do as our customer wants.”
Aiden stared at the alcohol bottle which still had a small content in it. He stared back at the bartender as he threw him some dollar notes.
The bartender counted the money and his face lit up. It was ten times the exact amount for the alcohol.
“Thank you sir.” He yelled after Aiden as he took Tihana away from the club.
Aiden opened the car backseat and pushed Tihana in it as he so threw her purse on her before closing back the car door.
“You’re so handsome but I don’t trust you handsome guys. My husband is also handsome but he is a jerk and mostly importantly a beast in a human clothing.” Tihana said drunkily as Aiden drove the car.
Aiden scoffed and stared at her through the rearview mirror in the car.
He went to convince a client to sign a business contract with his company.
He had wanted to reject meeting in the club with the client but he was left with no option.
The contract was very much important to him as it worth billiions of dollars.
Coming back to see Tihana drunk and a guy dragging her to only God knows where really made anger surge through his veins.
What if someone that knows him pretty well in America was to be in the same club as them? What would then happen?
He took another glance at Tihana through the rear view mirror with rage filled eyes.
“My husband is a beast.” A drunk Tihana sang repeatedly in a smile.
Aiden locked the back door to avoid her falling out because of how she was jumping around in the car.
He turned on the music in the car and increased the volume that he could no longer hear Tihana’s voice.
If only she knew what she was saying right now then she won’t even say it in the first place.
