Don’t bring her to this
The welcome back home ceremony for Tihana was lit. She had stayed back in the hospital with her baby for another week before she finally discharged. All through her stay in the hospital, Aiden was there for her.
As much as Tihana was so happy to hold her in her hand, she was sad. As the first thought on her mind was if she’s ready to give up on her baby?Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
She haven’t known what the joy of motherhood is until this minute. She wanted to by with her baby and watch him grow into a big baby. But she did signed a contract that she won’t be in that baby’s life after he’s a year old right?
Thinking about this alone was enough to keep her heartbroken. While Aiden had been all around her, showering her with gifts and telling her all the sweet words… Tihana still feel like he was doing all that just to appreciate her for giving birth to his baby.
Blossom had been there too, and so was Diana, Emma , Mr Norman and Ms Turner. The only person that Tihana hadn’t heard from since she put to bed with Aiden’s father. He was the head behind all that happened in his life and that of Aiden’s. He was the one who desperately needed a great grandchild that he couldn’t wait for Aiden to get married at his own will. When he got the news of her putting the bed, why wasn’t he here?
Tihana hadn’t hide the fact that she was worried, so she had asked about him from Aiden. Who had explained that grandfather was just a little too busy and couldn’t make it to the hospital.
Tihana Ofcourse wasn’t convinced and not until Aiden told her that grandfather will come see the baby once they’re out of the hospital.
“You look so happy.” Diana tells her as she went to sit next to her. Tihana smiled in response as she looks at Aiden’s work partners and other well wishers who had come over to celebrate the one week old baby of Aiden’s.
Meanwhile, Tihana’s baby was asleep.. Aiden had taken up to himself to give him a name after conclusion with Tihana. And so, they ended up naming him “Collins Aiden Jr.”
Aiden doesn’t mind giving his son his name. He was ready to give him all his best as the newest father. He couldn’t have asked for anything much more than this. The feelings was overwhelming.
Aiden hadn’t said a word to Tihana that is related to the contract and that had kept Tihana on edge. She had desperately wanted to hear what Aiden had in mind for her, but she doesn’t want to be the one to push those buttons.
“I guess I am… I mean, surprisedly I’m now a Mother.” Tihana smiles as of how the word ‘Mother’ sounded on her tongue.
“I know right. The newest young baby mama of Aiden…”
“Baby mama?” Tihana turned to look at Diana.
“Isn’t that what it’ll be called? The contract will be over In one month time… You can keep visiting the baby till he’s a year old, and boom! Everything is over.”
Tihana rolls her eyes. “I hate how you made that sound.”
She couldn’t hid the fact that she was sad when she realize Diana was right by calling her a baby mama. Wayne approached them.
“Is everything Okay?” He asked, seeing the look on Tihana’s face which she had immediately covered up with a smile.
“Yeah yeah! Just telling her about the contract being over soon and we can get back to spending plenty times together. ”
Wayne looks at Tihana and could notice the sad look she had one… On his side, he wouldn’t want to be the one to spill the beans as of what plans Aiden have for her. And so he looks back and Diana and take her hand.
“Come with me!” Dragging her away from Tihana who just smiled, a fake smoke as usual.
She stood up from where she had been sitting for the past minutes. Aiden Jnr was inside the mean building, asleep. The new tons of nannies Aiden had hired was watching over him.
Tihana doesn’t feel too strong to participate in the dancing and the drinking. So she had kept her distance and instead, just watched and admire the happy faces.
She was disappointed when she noticed Grandfather hadn’t made it to the ceremony either.
“Hey…” She heard a make voice behind her and she turned to see the face she hadn’t seen for a little long time.
“Hi Trenton! I didn’t know you came.” She stretched her hand for a shake and Trenton had instead pulled her into a hug. When he disengage, Tihana had the weirdest look on her face.
“You look amazing.. and I’m proud of you. ”
Tihana laughs, a nervous laugh.
“Thank you Trenton. I heard you got together with my sister.”
“Blossom? Yes… We both look amazing don’t you think?”
Trenton’s eyes went to the crowd and Tihana followed his eyes to matches with with Blossom who was dancing. She smiles and look back at Trenton.
“You both are a match made in heaven.”
Trenton smiles and stare for another seconds at Blossom before he turned to look at Tihana.
“I’ve been meaning to talk to you.” Tihana nodded her head in response.
“I’m sorry for everything.. I know I’ve been at my worst, all thanks to Blossom that made me realize what I feel for you was only obsession and not genuinely love.”
Tihana smiles. “Its okay.”
“No it’s not .. I own you one, and I’ll like to make up for my mistake. Tell me anything you want me to do, and I’ll gladly do it.”
This time Tihana had laugh. “C’mon Trenton, I told you it’s fine. I think you should go have fun with Blossom, she looks lonely.”
Trenton’s eyes went down to Blossom who was now sitting and taking a wine. “Ah! I told her not to drink. I’ll see you later then.”
She nods and watch him rush downstairs. Tihana smiles, and turn around with the intention to walk back into her room. She hadn’t participated in anything, but she’s really tired.
___
Ms Turner walked into grandfather’s apartment unexpectedly as usual, just in time to see him preparing to go out….
“Are you going somewhere? To Aiden’s?” She asked and sat down, not waiting for him to say anything. She knows that even if she stand there for as many hour as she damn fit, he’ll never offer her a seat. So it’s better for her to offer herself a seat and not wait for him.
“Why should I be going to Aiden’s?”
“You see the newest member of the Turner’s? You cried so much back down as how you wanted a ‘grandchild’… Is something with you Brain that you mistook Aiden for your son?”
“What?”
“Aiden is your grandchild.. his child will be your ‘great grandchild’… Now, does that also speak about how old you are and need to rest and stop ruling your family’s life?”
________
Trenton and Aiden walked into the garden, Trenton had told him he wanted to speak with him and since the party was still ongoing and every where is noisy, Aiden had walked him to the garden. Even tho the sound of music can still be heard, it was better than staying back inside the house.
“What do you want to say?” Aiden questioned.
His relationship with Trenton hadn’t returned to normal. He had let him come in because Blossom had asked him beforehand.
The three all grow up together but it seems Trenton was the one he hated the most. As much as he doesn’t appreciate Trenton’s presence in his home, he doesn’t want to cause drama. Especially when Tihana hadn’t feel uncomfortable around him.
“I want to know why exactly you moved away from us.”
Aiden understood where his question was pointing to. He was trying to make him look like he was the reason they’re both in each other’s bad book. Trenton was trying to bring back the pasts and then put the blame on Aiden.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Moved away? I have always been here.”
Trenton looks at him. He knew for sure that this conversation is going to either end badly, or things can be waved aside. But he had wanted to know a lot of things from Aiden.
Most especially, he wanted to know what happened to Aiden that he had pushed himself away from Blossom and Trenton back in the days.
Truth be told, Aiden was the one that planted this bad seed. And only him, can cut the tree down from the roots.
“I owe you no explanation.”
“You do… At least for the sake of your wife.. I mean, fake wife.”
That last word had made him so mad that he used all in his to hold himself back to punch Trenton on the face.
“Don’t bring her into this.”
He hadn’t said much, cause Trenton was right. Tihana is his fake wife, at least.. for now.
