Delilah said, "Your words have brought back memories. That old man is cunning and sly. While I don't consider him a real threat, removing him won't be a simple task.

"He comes from the royal lineage and holds a high position as the general of the city's defense forces. His demise would not go unnoticed by the royal family."

Felix was smart, but Delilah's tone hinted that there was more to the story. It seemed like she still had some limitations in Martial City, and there were certain individuals she couldn't risk angering.

"But don't worry," Delilah reassured. "I can easily transfer him out of North City to ensure your safety while you're here."

With that taken care of, Delilah got down to business.

"I've already submitted your application for the Intermediate Alchemy Assessment. It will take place in five days at Harmony Clinic's headquarters. Unfortunately, I won't be able to accompany you. I made a promise to an old friend to refine some pills for him. Your presence has caused me to be delayed."

Delilah couldn't come with him? Felix was about to speak up when Delilah smiled and continued, "You don't need to worry about safety. I have everything under control.

"Dickson, the deputy chief of Harmony Clinic, will be your escort to headquarters and back. If anything happens to you while he is responsible for your safety, then it would truly be out of our hands."

In many ways, Delilah was similar to Gerald-she could speak such discouraging words with a calm demeanor.

Four days flew by quickly. Laura had made a speedy recovery and was now assisting at Tranquil Clinic.

She dressed much simpler now. Although she no longer gave off an air of being a Larsson family member, she seemed more genuine than before.

"While I'm gone, you can go help out at Harmony Clinic. I've already spoken to Nellie."

Felix was still concerned about leaving Laura on her own at the clinic. Even though Jared and Andrew had left North City, the Larsson family remained there. Who knew if there were any lunatics among them?

"Thank you, Mr. Zeller," Laura replied.

When they arrived at the entrance of Harmony Clinic, Nellie and Dickson were both there.

"Don't worry, Felix. I'll definitely take good care of your little sweetheart," Nellie said.

Laura's cheeks flushed, and she looked down, unable to reply.

Felix was starting to get used to Nellie's straightforward way of speaking. "Then I'll have to trouble you, Nellie."

As soon as they were out of the city, Atlas followed behind them, accompanied by an elderly man.

Atlas gave himself a quick slap on the cheek. He had been anticipating this day for what felt like an eternity. He thought the opportunity would take a while to present itself but it came unexpectedly fast.

With that thought, Levi pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "They've already left the city," he reported.
