“Stay here,” Eric suggested as he gestured towards the crowd. “I’ll go get our tickets.”

Hadley watched as he made his way to the counter, his presence turning heads due to his noticeable height and distinctive appearance.

“Is he by himself?”

“Does that good-looking man not have a partner?”

As Eric secured the tickets, he noticed a small group had formed around him, which he promptly ignored.

Together, they walked over to the vendor, hands intertwined. Confronted with a myriad of cotton candy choices, Hadley paused, dazzled.

“Which one would you like?”

Hadley pointed. “That one.”
