Whispers Of Betrayal (Anastasia and Alastor)

Chapter 182

Chapter 182

Jason stood on the side of the road, looking somewhat despondent.

His gaze was fixed on Anastasia, and no matter how much Kimberly tried to pull him away, he refused to leave.

Jason wanted to wait for Anastasia’s decision, even though she had repeatedly chosen Alastor in the past.

“Alastor, let’s meet at the City Hall tomorrow. Kimberly has had too much to drink. I need to take her back,” Anastasia said calmly, turning to Jason and assisting him in supporting Kimberly.

Glaring at Kimberly, Anastasia lowered her voice and asked, “Are you the one who messaged Alastor?”

Kimberly, who pretended to be drunk, responded in hushed tones, “He begged me for two hours, and I could not refuse.”

Anastasia sighed and checked the time. It was only two in the afternoon at that moment.

“You should go back. I know you are still soper.” Anastasia flagged down a taxi and assisted Kimberly in getting inside. “Anastasia!” Kimberly wanted to say something.

However, seeing that Anastasia wasn’t interested in listening, Kimberly had no choice but to leave first.

“Annie, can we talk?” Alastor approached, wanting to have a conversation with Anastasia.

“There is not much to talk about. Go find Felicia instead.” Jason frowned, warily looking at Alastor.

Although Alastor disliked Jason, he did not want to push Anastasia any further away from him. Alastor held back his emotions and continued to speak. “Kimberly mentioned that you think of him as a little

brother, and I can understand. Let us talk about it at home, okay?”

Anastasia looked at Alastor and smiled. “Why bother? Back then, I said I wouldn’t divorce, but you insisted on it. Now you want to talk about it.”

“I’ll listen to whatever you have to say, Anastasia. It was my fault for agreeing to the divorce so easily. I do not mind if you want to exact revenge on me, but please follow me home first.” All Alastor wanted was for Anastasia to go back with him.

“You have never put your faith in me first.” Anastasia was exhausted and did not want to talk to Alastor too much. “I have something to do this afternoon,” Anastasia said before turning to leave.

Jason didn’t pay any attention to Alastor either and followed closely behind Anastasia.

“Let’s talk about the divorce, then.” Alastor’s voice had become hoarse. Alastor reached out and took Anastasia’s hand in his/ “Let us talk about the divorce.”

Anastasia came to a halt and turned to face Alastor. “There is nothing to discuss regarding the divorce. I do not want anything of yours, and I am not going to leave anything for you either. Let us keep it civil and just get the divorce

certificate.”

Alastor’s face darkened as he tightened his grip on Anastasia’s hand.

Anastasia looked at Alastor, unsure of what he intended to do.

“Is there nothing worth cherishing in that house?” Alastor asked softly.

Originally, there was still Snowball. But now Alastor realized he had nothing else that could entice Anastasia to stay.

Everything was gone, whether it was Snowball or their child..

“That’s not my home anymore.” Anastasia shook her head and pulled her hand away from Alastor’s grip before turning to leave.

Jason remained not too far behind Anastasia, observing the scene.

After walking for a while, Jason glanced back at Alastor.

Noticing that Alastor frowned and clenched his fists tightly.

He was aware that Jason was mocking him, mocking his inability to keep Anastasia.

“Septimus isn’t feeling well. It has had diarrhea for the past few days. I’ve sent it to the veterinarian for a check-up. Would you like to accompany me to pick it up?” Jason inquired softly. NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.

After thinking for a while on the sidewalk, Anastasia finally spoke. “I’m pretty sure you know that Kimberly likes you.”

You know that I like you, too,” Jason retorted Anastasia bluntly.

Anastasia stopped walking. “There is no future for us.”

“You’ve told me in the past that no one can predict the future. Jason’s eyes were red as he looked at Anastasia.

I never had an abortion. I am still pregnant with Alastor’s child. Except for you and Zachary, I have not told anyone about

this.” Anastasia spoke frankly. Anastasia was still carrying Alastor’s baby. “I am a divorced woman who is still pregnant with my ex-husband’s child. Have you gone mad? Do you intend to raise someone

else’s child?”
