Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1662

"Alright, I accept your apology." Fiona chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

Nearby, Sandy and Yvenne were caught off guard. They exchanged puzzled glances, trying to decipher the unspoken connection between Jackson and Fiona, unaware of what was off. As Fiona rose to her feet, the two watched her approach, a bit on edge.

Maybe it was because Jackson was there, but no one dared to step in or utter a single word against her. They just had to grit their teeth and swallow their pride.

"Fiona, what are you up to?" Sandy asked, her voice a bit shaky as she looked nervously from Jackson to Fiona, finally managing to string her thoughts together: "There are so many people around... you wouldn't really try anything, would you?"

Try anything? Please. They weren't even worth the effort.

With a playful glint in her eyes, Fiona drew closer and then unexpectedly burst into laughter. "Why so tense? I'm not going to bite. Or is it that you've got something to hide?"

Her sudden remark left Sandy and Yvenne exchanging uneasy looks, but they kept quiet.

Fiona had lost interest in dragging this out. Glancing at Jackson, she said, "Come on, let's go."

And just like that, the drama fizzled out, leaving everyone, especially Sandy and Yvenne, in disbelief. They had plotted to get Fiona booted from school, but instead, they almost wrecked their own plans.

Before leaving, Sandy shot Yvenne a glare that could burn holes. She wasn't dumb; she knew Yvenne had stirred up trouble with Fiona on purpose. Sure, Fiona wasn't perfect, but Yvenne was no saint either.

These young folks today, honestly, had no sense of decorum.

If only she hadn't gotten tangled up in this mess, she wouldn't be stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, she liked the prestige Yvenne brought her way, but on the other, she couldn't stand the chaos that followed.

"From now on, steer clear of Fiona. You started this, and now you're caught, dragging me into the mess too," Sandy sighed, then mustered a small smile. "Still, I want you to get along with your classmates. Since Fiona's a bit of a firecracker, I'll arrange for you to switch dorms. Just focus on the design

competition and bring back a win for me."

Hearing about the dorm switch, Yvenne was immediately against it, which irked Sandy.

"Ms. Sandy, I've settled in with my dorm mates. Moving would just cause unnecessary friction, and honestly, I'm quite comfortable where I am."

If she really moved, how would she sneak peeks at Fiona's drawings? How else could she aim for first place?

Sandy wasn't clueless; she sensed something was fishy, though she hadn't guessed Yvenne's designs were knock-offs. She just thought Yvenne had it in for Fiona.

"I'm saying this for your own good. Avoiding future run-ins with Fiona is smart. The Woods family is notnoveldrama

Didn't you see Jackson sticking up for Fiona today? Do you really want to keep butting heads with her?"

"No, Ms. Sandy, I swear I won't have any more run-ins with Fiona. I'll steer clear

of her. I just really don't want to leave my current dorm. I'm settled there..."
