Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 81

“Brother, did Daddy and Mommy sleep together last night?”

“Yes.”

“Will they sleep together from now on?”

“I don’t know.” Tavish glanced at Nydia’s bedroom door.

“Does that mean Daddy and Mommy won’t separate? And we won’t separate either.”

Tavish frowned. “Why would we separate?”

“If Daddy and Mommy get divorced, won’t they take one child each? Then we will be separated.”

Tavish’s face grew serious. “We won’t be separated! Absolutely not!”

“Brother, you scared me.” Molly pouted, her lower lip tucked under her upper lip, looking very aggrieved.

“Don’t be afraid, Molly. No matter what happens, Brother will protect you and we won’t be separated.”

“Okay, Molly believes in Brother. Brother is the best brother in the world.”

Molly reached out and hugged Tavish. “Molly will also protect Brother!”

While the two children were comforting each other, Jesse had already returned to his own bedroom.

He entered the bathroom, stood up from the wheelchair, and stood by the sink, supporting himself.

He opened his shirt and revealed his shoulder, clearly seeing the bite marks on his shoulder. His fingers touched it and it still hurt, as if he could still feel the sensation of her teeth piercing his skin and the fresh blood oozing out. He even remembered the quivering of his carotid artery when her tongue brushed over it.

He didn’t expect that after Nydia’s drowning, they would both be frequently injured, especially Nydia.

Before, she just avoided him and spoke coldly to him, rarely confronting him head-on.

But now, she repeatedly provoked him, as if she was looking for a fight.

Unconsciously, he thought of Nydia, who slept in his arms like a gentle little lamb last night. This was the first time they had slept so intimately and peacefully together.

“Daddy, we can have breakfast now.”

Tavish’s words interrupted his thoughts.

“Yeah, I’ll be there in a moment.”

Nydia finished washing up and sat down in the dining room to have breakfast with the two children.

While Molly was eating, she kept extending her hand towards Nydia from time to time.

“Does Molly have something to say to Mommy?” Sometimes, clever children can be a bit of a headache.

“Mommy, is it true that me and Brother will have a new little brother or sister soon?”

Molly’s words left Nydia stunned, and for a moment, she didn’t know how to respond, a blush creeping up her cheeks. Jesse, who had just entered the restaurant, happened to hear the conversation.

“Mommy, isn’t that right?” he asked.

“Not so fast,” Nydia could only reply.

After speaking, she saw Jesse and immediately looked away, casually brushing her hair back and then lowering her head to eat.

Jesse caught the fleeting embarrassment and wondered what Nydia meant. Was she planning on having another child with him?

“Brother, do you want Mommy’s tummy to have brother or sister?” Molly was already very excited and started discussing the issue with Tavish.

Tavish looked at Nydia and then at Jesse, “Either one is fine.”

“Wow, does that mean we’ll have four kids in our family, just like us? That would be so great!”

“Molly, Mommy’s tummy doesn’t have a baby.”

Nydia felt like she had to make it clear; otherwise, it would be even harder to explain later. She couldn’t just conjure up a child out of thin air, oh no, now Molly wanted two.

“That’s okay, Daddy, Mommy, you keep trying. We’re not in a hurry. When my brother and I are older, we can take better care of our little brother or sister.”

“…” Thank you!

“Daddy, Mommy, will you be sleeping together tonight?”

Although Nydia knew that Molly’s reference to “sleeping together” was just about sleeping together, the blush that she had finally suppressed suddenly flared up again.

Suddenly, she remembered the day when Jesse had pressed her against the desk in the study in such a humiliating position…NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
